True, still a bad decision though.

 

No point kicking off over it, Haaland should have scored during the game and he didn't. A draw is fair.

I'm sort of pleased with the 3-3 because it lets Son off the hook for his own goal, so it all evened itself out.

But yeah, very strange decision by the ref.

Because Haaland missed a sitter during the game and he knows Pep will bollock him for it. So he thought the refs decision to play on when Grealish was in an advantage position to score would have given him the assist, as well as the mental knowledge to play on and win the game, but the ref changed his mind, so now he can go and take the bollocking he deserved.

 

They didn’t spend beyond their means to get there though.
