My heart says we can go up there and really give them a game but my head is saying how the hell are Royal and Davies going to stop Haaland!
With our best 11 I think we could do ourselves justice and not be embarrassed. But with the players available it could go really bad. Nightmare scenario they get an early goal and we go down to 10 men. That wouldn’t surprise me at all.

 

One suspects Royal is dropped for Dier. Purely for aerial battles with Haaland.

 

This might be the day for Ange to discard the Bielsa rule book or it could be carnage. If it becomes a basketball game and City are up for it, it could be er…..entertaining. Time to be pragmatic

Think they'll batter us but tbh it'll be a good learning experience for Udogie, Bissouma, Vicario and Johnson and will show Ange whether Gil and Lo Celso are worthy of a squad place for the rest of the season.
