Still 1-0 after 80 minutes - and that goal was from one of only three shots all game. Riveting stuff...
I didn't see that semi final, but I think I read somewhere that Chesterfield had what would have been a potential winning goal ruled out incorrectly. Of course now it would have gone to penalties and not a replay.
Sort of - they had a shot which went over the line but wasn’t spotted so not given . https://amp.theguardian.com/footbal...hesterfield-whisker-fa-cup-final-25-years-ago
This is the first time I've seen a current table for the U18s - good to know they're doing so well. https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/46165/u18s-at-watford
I wonder about the criteria for being awarded Goal of the Month - quite why Hoedt's effort at Hull didn't win is beyond me. Does it have to have been scored at Vicarage Rd? Not trying to take anything away from Kone's effort, but it simply wasn't up there.
It really was an amazing result. Saints are third in the table, Watford are bottom, 16 points behind. When they last played back in October, with Watford at home, Saints won 2-0, playing over half the game with 10 players after a red card. Suitable revenge for them undeservedly taking a point off us on Saturday...
