Two good saves by Gunn has kept Norwich in the game and I think Conway could have converted at least one of his 2 attempts within 5 minutes of each other.
A so-so first half but we'll take it as a positive going into the second 45 minutes. Poor choices and decisions need to be eliminated from our game as that is what separates us from the supposedly better teams and I hope some of the issues will be dealt with by getting extra strength during the transfer window. Why oh why do we constantly get deep into the opponents half and then go backwards and at times Zak holds the ball up when he has acres of space in front of him and seems to be waiting for the backward option. We did get better as the half progressed but we have to up the ante if we want all 3 points, otherwise another Southampton could be on the cards. Interesting second half on the cards and the subs may be the difference, but only if they improve the squad and take us to the final whistle still in front.
Boring first 20 minutes. We gradually got on top after a big scare with them hitting the post after Barnes missing a great chance. Seemed the game got better when Sykes, who was awful early, moved right-side. Mention again for Knight, a fantastic signing.
now the opposition will be fuelled with the knowledge that we give away / conceed points in the first 10 mins or so of the second half so need to remain steadfast and vigilant
Own goal by Tanner who in my books should have been the one to come off instead of Sykes. Bad coaching decision.
When our opposition steps up their play we usually can't handle the pressure and today looks like one of those games. We have to be way better and I can't see the team on display today looking like they really want this one.
Twenty yards free space in front of our back four and what do they do, why not go back and across for a couple of minutes while the time ebbs away?

Got what we deserved, nothing, Bell, Conway, Tanner so out of form and confidence, if we got points for back passes we would be top of the league
