Who would win if all players were fit for both sides?

I think Eddie's boys, because Keegan's lot would all be in their 50s by now.

Not just that tbh, today's team has far better tactics than Keegan's which was just all out attack.

Tbh there's only really Shearer and Ferdinand from then that I'd have in the team now.

Trippier is better than Beresford, Botman and Schar are better than Peacock and Albert, Gordon is better than Ginola, Livramento is better than Barton, and Bruno and Joelinton are better than Lee and Batty.

Beardsley in his day would fit well with how we play now.

Gordon over Ginola? Not sure on that one I might go Ginola.

Maybe Gillespie / Nobby on the right wing?

Yes Beardsley as well, forgot him.

Definitely Gordon over Ginola though, Gordon was workrate miles ahead of Ginola, gets more goals and adds far more to the team.

And yeah I did love Gillespie in his prime.

No way in footballing terms (as opposed to fitness terms) is Gordon better than Ginola.

Also would have Beardsley and Cole ahead of any of our current strikers.

Would have Robert Lee ahead of Joe as well.

Today’s team would win simply on fitness and running but if we were to assume that side of things were equal, either both 1990’s standard or both 2020’s standard then the Entertainers would win as they weren’t as bad as claimed in defending and they were way ahead on the attacking.

Edit: On Ginola I would also concede Gordon puts in more effort but would still pick Daveed due to the excitement he created and the magic.

I'm skill terms Ginola was better than just about anyone, he just had bad workrate, didn't defend and went missing often, he was supported by the team massively. Would rather have Gordon in the team anyday.

I can understand that but I figure the other 10 could carry him so that we could enjoy the magic.

    Watch, listen and learn. <cheers>

Ginola was football porn to watch, but we need more grit to win titles.

I would at least try and be the first pornographic PL winners before dropping Ginola.
