probably not. If our four first team strikers aren’t ready, then he definitely isn’t. It would also have a real confidence knock on the likes of Hemir who seems to be 4th choice out of 4 anyway. Poor lad must have been buzzing to be given the number 9 shirt and then dropped after two games, seemingly irreversibly
The lad (Hemir) has made 13 appearances mind, like all of them he's just a tap-in away from starting the next game.
He’s has the best chances fall to him out of all our options to be fair, should has scored a header way back if I recall correctly
Rusyn had a couple of decent efforts aswell if memory serves, I think Rusyn is the best of the lot but not sure how long he is injured for. We're at a point with our strikers where we are desperate for any goal from any of them, If I was Tony I'd literally be drawing straws telling them whoever scores keeps the shirt.
Indeed, had a lot of the goal to aim for, and hit the ball more or less straight at the keeper,very poor attempt
Strikers eh....and to think a few short months ago we were all purring at having so many to pick from...I've said it before...it's a funny old game is football. What's the answer to curing the problem...confidence or more aptly a lack of it which is also affecting the rest of the lads unfortunately.
On another thought I'd bounce Burstow back to Chelsea, rather give one of our own a chance over him, nothing personal like.
