Honestly if Ingram was somewhat capable of playing out I would make the switch but the difference between the two for me means Allsop keeps the spot for now

No I wouldn’t. I hate playing out from the back. You’ve misjudged this one. <cheers>

Regardless the system isn’t changing. It’s been far better with Ryan in goal from a build up POV. I have confidence he will fix it

I've no doubt he keeps his place, but a keeper with no pressure behind him who knows he'll keep his place whatever happens isn't a good thing for anyone.

Perhaps. And that may be a good point. Time will tell.

And he knows this how? Did you tell him? Or is it just you assuming that? Is it just possible that Rosenior still thinks he's the best option in goal? Or do you have a bit of inside info, maybe Ingram refuses to believe Rosenior's nan is from Hull? You could just say Rosenior's wrong to think that without all this **** about who is or isn't Rosenior's man.
P.S. If Rosenior has slept with your wife or run over your dog, then obviously you're entirely justified in always looking for an opportunity to put the boot in.

Good fair reflection...a one in a hundred goal did it for us....(your goalie was partly at fault methinks) . and we saved the pen...... both teams looked fragile defensively and either could have won really.....

What the hell are you going on about? Me saying LR is going to stick with his man is definitely not putting the boot in

Thoroughly enjoyed the game today I thought we were excellent and deserved to win by 3/4. I’d normally be frustrated by these kind of games but but to be honest bar the first 10 minutes and our lack of coolness infront of goal there was not much to moan about.

Think our game has come on leaps and bounds. Especially the passing round the back etc.

The only other minor criticism was Rosie’s first subs, we where on top, and no doubt the idea of the subs was thought about before the game but leave it another 10, we where smashing them.

We need another couple of wingers to bring off the bench, or a Bowen type on the right and a left back obviously and we will be there abouts. Injury dependant.

On an overall point. I think the performance was a solid 6/10 today. Lots of the progression you can see from previous weeks. Moments where we picked up the pace and turned on them were very good. Thought Delap and Twine were really good. Philogene was struggling but I think Watford did a good job isolating him. After the pen miss I feel he was trying too hard to be the hero to get us back in it.

Generally though the problems this team needs to solve now are cutting out the sloppy goals, getting a tune out of the subs bench and having a bit more about us when in control of the game. Our best moments came when the game got stretched but we did struggle again breaking down a very organised Watford.

Get through December still in the playoff hunt and add some quality additions and we can make a push. Need a good winger and striker to help off the bench or rotation because I personally think the Tufan up top experiment is not working

Good thing is this team normally bounces back after a loss so bring on QPR

I get the debate about our keeper, I really do. It comes down to the fact that Ingram is the better shot stopper and Allsop is better with his feet. Makes ya choice.

(Then complain about it when either makes a mistake in their weaker discipline).

Or sign another keeper, I suppose.

However, we have a much bigger problem.

    Full backs.

We play our best centre back as a left back, until we need him back as a centre back again. Then we replace him with our right back.

Forcing us to play a limited, but willing backup wingback from the off.

We get away with whichever cobbled together formation Liam decides on against weaker teams like Rotherham, but against the good to excellent sides, this precarious construct falls apart.

I don't think any of our fullbacks, left or right, are good enough for a top six side.

That's what we need to address. Not the keeper.

We do look a little light in LBs that Rosenior rates…I’ll give you that.

Thoughts on the game Harrow Horn, since you're here? Or are you just going to respond to anything vaguely negative about Watford with pointless drivel all night?

Sounds quite sensible to me. We'd get mullered in the Prem right now.

Surprised we didn’t try to sign a young keeper on loan from a top team. I know we were linked to a few from Prem teams but there’s even options abroad. Given our links to Roma that Tan was promoting, we could’ve tried to sign Mile Svilar. Hasn’t played much at Roma since joining from Benfica. Most of these young keepers at big European clubs are taught to be comfortable with the ball at their feet at a young age in the academy.

I enjoyed the game today , I know for some people the result is the only thing that matters
but we'll play far worse than that and win games.
