Totally agree it was a cock up but he's by far the best keeper at the club because of his ability on the ball. Made a couple of good saves as well. Three mistakes cost us that game. That misjudgement, penalty miss and poor timing of substitutions. **** happens we move on

Certainly looked that way, although of you're on the receiving end you're always going to look for fault

Not the worst performance, not the best.

JP needs some good personal management this week.

    We’re exceeding expectations.

Good to see another scapegoat which means Twine gets a week off.

Despite the result Watford are still ****.

    We move on.

I realise you know more about goalkeeping than I ever will, but that's just nonsense. You can blame him for being slow to backtrack, but the ball was about six feet above him when it passed him. He's not Elastoman.
Again, seems more like something to support your anti-Rosenior agenda. The manager wants them to play out from the back, Allsopp is light years better than Ingram at doing that. Allsopp has also kept us in a few games this season, and has certainly done enough not to be dropped the first time he makes a mistake.

It's not the keeper's fault. I would guess he spends 99% of his training time playing as a central sweeper, making short passes, receiving the ball back, looking confident as though he knows what he's doing. When he saw the ball heading towards him he must have thought it was a grenade by the way he reacted.

    Little things:
    Need a left back
Need someone like Mcburnie up front or as an option
    Subs spoilt the flow
Lokilo I like but can’t cross with his wrong foot - so limited, hope he can work on that
Thought Allsop shoul have dropped a yard or two considering where the play was , but it was sort of split second , like Delaps failed effort to chase the guy a yard or two before he hit it.

While I'm on, can someone explain again why the tactical genius still has them passing a free kick near the half-way line all the way back into their own half? I always thought that winning a free kick gave you an advantage of threatening the opposition goal, or is that not part of the modern game?

Agree with this, he'd actually made one or two really good saves today, just had a bit of a moment on the 2nd.....not seen what happened for the first

Draw the press, make the 'active' pitch bigger, create space between the lines to play in as opposed to lumping it in where the defenders have the advantage and win the header 85% of the time and we lose posession.

Ingram kept us in a few games too, and Allsop has been dropping a few clangers recently...

i arent sure we are exceeding expectations, we are on par with where we should be. We have invested heavily and well, we are on the up and playing good footy. Need a few more through the door and we should improve further but realistically we should be 5/6 points better off and around 4th. Loads of missed opportunities this season and STILL in the mix.

Allsop was a good 15 yards off his line, why,God only knows...

But if one of ours had've scored that,we'd have been on about it for weeks to come.It was cheeky and efforts like that need a slice of luck but **** me it was accurate!!!I

One of those games where we can bemoan our luck again but our defending at their first and a missed penalty invariably sees us dropping points again...

    The budget isn't top 6.

The chairman reiterated a couple of weeks ago on 1904 club pod. that top 10 is still the expectation and represents progress this season.

I would have thought the manager would make the decision before the game especially with Tufan being on the bench.

Said at the time there was no need for substitutions, we’d built up a real head of steam and it felt like a goal was coming. Tufan came on and Morton, who’d been running the game, dropped back to replace Seri, Watford then grew more into the game.

It’s definitely not his first mistake. Ingram should be back in next game.
