He's right tho in that we are desperately lacking a central cutting edge in the 6 yard box.
The politics of that is another matter however.

im not sure it’s that much the obvious. It’s not like our strikers are missing lots of chances.

Said it in a different thread but I watch a lot of German football. Unbeaten and top of the league this season, took over while near the bottom of the table during the world cup break last season and went on a ten game winning run (including a game I was at) and ended up in 4th. Plays an extremely high intensity pressing style, strikers get multiple chances every game, goals come from all over the pitch. 30 years old, great pedigree within German football and has been involved in the national team youth setup. Would be a risk but I would rather take a risk over playing it safe.

Not sure if he thinks we're in league one or top of the prem, changes hourly.

    No he hasn't.

He's never won a thing in his entire career, playing or managing..

What? I'm talking about his upbringing in coaching. As you said before with Rooney, winning stuff means nothing.

Someone else procures players and it's Mowbray that gets the stick if they are not good enough. On a hiding to nothing.

I personally agree with pretty much all he’s said. The club want young players and someone to develop them, which he is doing well with and I’m certain the group are happy working with him.

I think we’ve created enough from the last few games to have won 1 or 2, just been unlucky, or had the chance fall to the wrong player etc etc.

I’m certain in time it will start to click. Shame about Rusyn, as it seems clear to me that he is our first choice. Would have been nice to have carried on with a fairly settled starting 11

I think that Mowbray’s comments on the young strikers can be taken in different ways. Another interpretation is that our strikers are inexperienced, developing and not yet at a championship level. Seems a fair enough comment.

Then he comes across as a little frustrated as this means we aren’t winning as many games as we could. That’s the model and what he agreed to but it does affect our ability to win games.

Can't wait for the new bloke to get us back to winning ways with tactics, team selection and subs that everyone agrees on.

Oh and drops 09, strips him the captaincy and only doesn't play him no matter what. Then sacks Dack, after leaving pictures of him eating kebabs and checking his social media more than paying attention to team meetings.

    Going to be brilliant

Thats how the majority of clubs work now. If you allow a manager to bring in 10 of his own players and he underperforms and you have to sack him you are left with 10 players the new manager you appoint probably doesn't want and its a vicious cycle. See Stoke for example, they keep giving their managers the full power and they constantly have a mismash squad of players brought in by different people. Our system allows you to plug in a coach of your choosing. It works.

He’s had us playing quick attacking brilliant football, he can do it again with a few changes. Hopefully.
