I thought Watford did a bit of number on us tactically. Worked really hard and nullified our ability to go through the centre which helped open all the spaces outside in previous games. Forced us outside straight away and they were prepared to deal with us so even though we had most of the ball they were pretty comfortable. Sometimes they had 3 players waiting for Philogene. On the plus side, teams like Watford can't just turn up and play their own game, they are having to find ways to beat us and ultimately still need a bit of luck along with their efforts to win. Shows how far we have come in a short space of time.
Yawn ... I think you need a sleep or something. Just don't read it or block me it's not that difficult. Getting upset by an Apple crumble.
Is Tufan our nominated penalty taker, if so who is our nominated taker if Tufan is not on the pitch, also Allsop did not seem to backtrack as soon as Delap lost the ball.
It's always easier in hindsight .. Coyle made the decision and tbh I wouldn't have wanted anyone else taking it, the form Jaden has been in.
Still forced a great save though. They still go in more often than not. Performance was there again, games like that happen in the championship - as evidenced by everyone around us dropping points too.
Allsop is so bogus, Coyle lacks quality with his passing/decision making which slows us down and puzzling subs. Next.
Obviously that was a particularly weird game, with the penalty and the worldie of a winner heavily influencing things, but it's another game where we've played well and not ground out the result we should've. I don't know what the root cause is but it is a big issue this team has. We routinely fail to win games we dominate. Sort that out and we're one of the best teams in the division.
Gutted we haven't win that.....played a lot of food stuff against a big decent team. Another day we slot the pen and win comfortably.
I agree but for the most part it’s been the correct decision as Allsop’s distribution and pass decisions are better, and that’s an important factor in our healthy league position. HOWEVER Ingram is the superior shot stopper, and better at positioning himself to make the saves too. So at some stage, if Allsop keeps making errors, then Ingram needs to come back in.
I thought rosie needed to leave the team alone. The subs killed us. Tufan and Connolly offered very little when they came on. Thought alsop would have saved if only he had tried and twine had to take the pen. Never mind. We will still make the play offs utt
I hold myself responsible because just before their second goal I’d been saying what a good signing Allsop had been. Better distribution than Ingram, better with it at his feet and a good shot stopper too. I stand by it too mind you
