I keep reading this mate, about if our target is not available we should wait until he is. That doesnt sit right with me, if indeed KLD is targeting prem in by end of next season as is suggested. If he is that ambitious I would think he would go and get him, pay the compensation and wages and give him this season as well. We seem to have become used to only appointing coaches out of work, because that is what we have done recently.
Top scoring attackers/strikers barring Clarke in the championship so far; Armstrong £15m Szmodics £1.5m Broadhead £1.2m Whittaker £1m Rajovic £2m Chaplin £800k Rusyn cost more than 5 of them.
Sorry mate but nowhere in that article does it say they want to be back in the premiership with in 5 years.
"The next season is a period of consolidation as the club adapts to the second tier, but in doing so a proactive improvement program has been planned and is integral to the future success of the club. It remains the club’s ambition to return to the Premier League within five years since acquiring control. "Following the recent promotion, the club are on track to achieve this."
Are you reading a different article to what you have put on here? Interestingly, it is added that five years is seen as the time frame within which the club hope to return the top tier.
Scrolled down, nowt except this Interestingly, it is added that five years is seen as the time frame within which the club hope to return the top tier. Nothing is guaranteed in what is a brutally competitive division season in, season out - but this is a revealing insight into how the club plan to grow the squad. Put simply, it means that the board is hopefully of overseeing a promotion campaign at some stage in the next two-to-three seasons.
Found it To be fair I still believe to have an ambition to is not the same as having to, but people read things differently.
I don't mean available as in out of work I just mean if we can definitely get our number 1 target then I wouldn't be against replacing Mowbray. If that means paying compensation and they are willing to come then so be it. But if we can't get our target, either club won't release him or he won't leave mid season and then have to go down a list of other candidates or a stop gap appointment, I would rather keep Mowbray until the end of season.
sorry like but it's got nothing to do with just a forward we are all over the shop at the back and that's down to mowbray to organise, and the same things that are happening were happening last season, but we were getting away with it, this year we aren't .it's all good complaining about a striker, but half the time time are wingers don't beat the first man when actually putting a cross on, we have no width cos are full backs are to busy cutting in aswell, that's all down to coaching and not the squad
us drawing today had nowt to do with O’Nien, or at least no more to do with him than it was to do with everyone else and the tactics
