Good Morning All, OMG, what a weekend... A underserved but needed 3 points for the Super Whites, whilst the Lions got mauled again, this time at the expense of brizzle. McCarthy played a blinder and kept us in it during the first half, and although we were slightly better in the second half, I don't think we deserved the win, though I'll take it every day of the week obviously. 4 Questions i) Would we settle for a performance like that each week for a guaranteed 3 points ii) Should Burnleys keeper have been sent off midway through the first half iii) Is it time to break up the Keough / McCormack partnership iv) What the fcuk is up with AOB Feel free to post players stats, and any suggestions of song of the day
We played liked that too many times this year but the times we have we have won! very strange Peterborough away Palace home Burnley all wins from **** performances Middlesborough home Ipswich away West Ham away All good performances but not wins Leeds United = Unbelievable
Sorry mate but I dont believe that, no1 who was watching the game would have betted on us to get anything out of that! unless you have more money than sense We were just awful and looked like we couldve played for days n not scored
Morning all, morning Jen Had Saints Leeds Millwall in a treble this weekend. Glad Millwall lost as I got so battered Friday I lost the bloody ticket Kissa, its always an embarassment when we play like that on the beeb. Still, we are looking pretty strong away from home.
done me well so far this season! Did you go to the game Jen? Poor old Brighton playing with 9 men (one sending off, and one being Billy Paynter) Elland, good birthday? did you go clubbing? Off to Bournemouth Saturday, hotel booked & i cant wait
Elland youve got bigger balls than me Jen Im not suprised its guaranteed when you get given penalties no matter where the player is fouled on the pitch
Think it balanced its self out though as there was a few stone wall penno's not given. Strange game for the ref....
Morning Guys Anyone else up for rearranging Obrien Face. Problem is, he's that **** ugly, it would probably help him
Your not wrong there mate. I expect he wont be showing his face around Leeds again. i just wrote this to kissa on another thread about the useless twat He can go **** himself mate. Calls himself a Leeds fan, pah. Anyone I know who supports the club would give there right arm to be in his position, he should be thanking SG for believing him & putting him back in the mix. Maybe Grayson is the worst manager he has ever worked for, after all he kept picking the donkey even when he was terrible. Think big Sam has turned his head and his best days have gone, plus he is a high earner is a position we desperatley need to improve so cheers Andy, dont let the door hit your arse on the way out. Or do, whatever.
Bucks Ive been against this scum bag from day one. In it for the money. Whilst on loan at Leeds, he travelled down to cardiff, agree terms with them and then came back to Leeds and said if we matched the offer, he'd stay. We should have told the useless ugly ****ing ****, to **** off, right there
Radebeer, heres a good quote from rosesport that sums up Saturday So there I was watching my beloved Leeds celebrate after taking 3 points away from home. Imagine my joy to see them comeback from behind and steal a win so undeservedly. Although nothing could end my high at that moment, something could defiantly push it that tiny bit lower. This something was Andy O’ Brien; the odd looking former Pompey and Newcastle defender gave us grumpy Leeds fans something to moan about. Having already imagined by joy at the superb win now imagine my anger at hearing our recovering defender will “never play for Leeds again.” After his cool and collected performance against Leicester in which he helped us gain a clean sheet against the leagues big spenders then following it up with a sensational interview in the Yorkshire evening post with Phil Hay in which he stated “That’s a consequence. I honestly feel that if we all pull together and play our part – fans, players, staff – then we’ve got an opportunity this season. A massive opportunity” This so called opportunity required everyone to pull together however he did the opposite of this. Pretty much straight after the game Simon Grayson told Tom Kirwin that O Brien “refused” to play and would never play for Leeds again. After unbelievably gaining some respect from the Leeds fans, why would anyone even think of doing this? Of course being a Leeds fan I would dream to be in his position but so should he. He had supposedly told people he’s a Leeds fan so why would he throw this position away just to join West Ham or as some now say to not play under Simon Grayson? The same Simon Grayson that gave him chance after chance while he was struggling last season? The same Simon Grayson that signed him from Bolton reserves? The same Simon Grayson that went against the fans and started him against Leicester last week? Yes that Simon Grayson this unbelievable change of faith is either because he wants to temporarily be a reserve at West Ham or hates the very man in charge of him to the extent he can’t even face pulling the white shirt over his head and giving it everything he has. That’s my dream; I would love to do that every week. To pull on the famous white strip and show everyone what I’ve got. My fingers hurt while I type this with the anger that I’ve stored away while thinking about him. The honour of pulling on a white shirt isn’t enough for Andy O’ Brien anymore; I can’t imagine what it would feel like to be him. Disgrace to the team, disgrace to Leeds. By rosesport
Definately, if he did that at elland road I think there would be a pitch invasion! Bucks im hearing rumours that Alex Bruce hasn't been playing because if he does we have to pay Ipswich another payment if he plays 1 more game!
I remember your posts well buddy He brokered his own deal as well, didnt use an agent which means he pocketed eveything. If he gets his contract terminated he will probably get another big signing on fee from west ham if there stupid enough to take him on.....
