Seems it was pitch and toss pretty much ****ing everywhere apart from the Wee Toon. Do kids still play it these days? Probably not, the wee ****ers.

Anyone remember "Knuckly" from skool days? Getting your knuckles rapped to **** with a full deck of cards after losing?

    Great days indeed.

We also used to have competitions to see who could get the belt the most in a term.

    Ah, the mammaries.

Yep, skin hanging off your knuckles and pishing with blood. There was another game that I can't remember the name of as we didn't play it, but some of the older ones did and it was pretty much getting flicked on the forehead numerous times. It doesn't sound sore, but after being flicked to **** and the same bruise being flicked I would imagine it would be sore! Think the person with the highest card got flicked that many times from everybody else.

They didn't cover themselves in glory that's for sure, early days for the Shinners, don't think they've ****ed up yet and it's going to get very dirty next year. As for last week, opportunists, disenfranchised youth, right wingers but it came down to looters spotting a chance and took it,I was ok, I'm on the South side lol

So there is a difference middle/lower class. South side being quite noice <diva>

My Uncle, Ma's brother bought a house a stones throw from Lansdowne Road in the 80s then sold it for an obscene amount about 2003 and built a big gaff in Balbriggan with plenty to spare. Right place right time. Jammy prick. Nice guy like.

The good old days, when life seemed simpler.

I said this to my sister a while back that I thought life would get easier as you got older but by ****, it just gets more and more complex and difficult <laugh>
