Read that in the Observer today, seems like Mango and co were disruptive rather than proactive in the transfer window, had we got all those players we might have had good crack at promotion

He made one mistake trying to protect a team mate, which is commendable, perhaps just a quiet word this time. I do think we need someone to communicate with the ref on the field of play, the vice captain, whoever that is on the day. As for the actual incident, it happened right in front of the manager who surely would have been an officials ear.
I don't remember Udinese signing Davis. Apparently he has been injured and not played yet which is no surprise. Why did our club not warn Udinese off from buying this perpetually injured player!?
I think we dodged a bullet by failing to get promotion - that compulsory £15mn purchase clause. And then Villa sold him for £2mn - I seriously doubt he's worth even that. That would be enough to put me off doing transfer business with them ever again.
