What I'm wondering about is how people can be so convinced they know what's wrong ...

... it's put up as facts, not as a subject for discussion.

    That's my point.

Four , "Attempted " , weak as P challenges leading up to their second goal but that resonated throughout the team last night and for most games this season.

Clarke played for himself last night, little concern for the strikers tbh.

Aye, once when we were being battered, don't recall the game but it was away from home.

Yep. Astounds me that people can watch us and think a new striker would fix the problem when our wingers don't like passing, we have no width coming from the fullbacks, the midfield play sideways and backwards. The only player last night who played a ball in behind was O'Nien to Jobe.

The team we started with was good enough to beat Huddersfield ...

...The team we finished with was good enough to beat Huddersfield.

The team didn't perform as well as it could, the substitutions weren't as critical as some are saying imo.

Head cocahes job to fix issues and get the best. Playing Roberts through the middle against 3 centre backs should be the final straw.

crying out for CDM and in my opinion we have the perfect one to slot in and he's playing CH Onien

bring onien in to sit in front of the defence, bring seelt into ch , and tell hume to **** off going into the middle and to start over lapping roberts, both roberts and clarke and getting doubled up on, soon as the fullbacks start over lapping that will stop

He tried various systems last season, some clearly didn't work, but found ways to win games.

At times it looked strange but things fell into place and we played some wonderful football.

Mowbray has given three strikers their chance, so far, and no one has taken it.

When? His system is not creating chances for the forwards.

Mate. Hand on heart how many are missing changes. They get sniff all. That's a tactical issue and he is head coach.

This is probably my sole concern. Not sure TM will do this. Over the past few weeks it's been pretty much same players, same formation etc. Too easy to defend against IMO.

I agree with you on the bold bit but I would like it to be taken 1 little step further, basically in midfield. Either Neil, Ekwah or Jobe is molded into the type of midfielder they seem best suited as. Yes I think Neil has come on from last season but if I had a choice between all 3 who I would want as a defending midfielder it would be him and instead of putting Ekwah as the DM have him play alongside Neil so there's cover one each side. For me we're far too wide open in the middle of the park with the way we are set up

Just guessing here but his system of getting the ball out, to two wingers' should be a dream for strikers ...

.... is Mowbray instructing them both to hang onto the ball and not fire the ball into the box?

Last night Clarke insisted on holding the ball, facing up to the defender and trying to go past him from a standing start ...

... he kept failing and people in the box never saw the ball.

For or against and whatever the subject matter is , I doubt anybody thinks they are ever 100% right , if they do more fool them, mind it would be tedious to have to request a discussion after every post, not to mention unnecessary, this forum and all its contributors are fine, no problem imo. <ok>

He used O'Nien as the DCM last season at QPR and I thought he did well there but he's never been used there since

We had 76% possession compared to Huddersfield having 24% possession. Mayenda was on the pitch for 74 minutes and had 19 touches and 2 shots. Burgzorg was on the pitch for 68 minutes, had 27 touches and also 2 shots including a goal. How is Darren Moore getting the ball to his strikers more than Mowbray with a significantly worse team playing a much more defensive style of play?

Clarke frustrates the hell out of me when he tries to cut in on his right all the time against 2 or 3 men. He never thinks about using his left foot to go down the line to put a cross in

    From Southampton:

"Ross couldn't be in the squad. He has had a setback with his injury recovery and this sometimes happens when you come back from a long-term injury. We're assessing him but he couldn't be in the squad today and he won't be in the squad on Saturday. Hopefully, we will have an update on Friday with a bit more of a clear answer on Ross and where his situation is - he has been scanned."

Do the people who said we'd be promoted this season, if we hadn't sold him, stand by that?

4 major injuries in 15 months. That £10million is looking like a robbery
