You think his results are good enough with the most talented team I have seen in over 55 years? you have very low expectations
Do you not mean last seasons team you have seen in the last 54 years? This is not last seasons team. So I would suggest you stop whinging like a 15 year old who never got the new boots he wanted for his birthday and be patient and give these young lads a chance to learn from their mistakes.
The players are fine not one of them has stopped trying just the opposite in fact, TM has made a few mistakes tactically recently imo., as long as he has a united dressing room which seems to be the case , a couple of tweaks here and there and we could be back on track, that's my hope at least. Lets see where we are at Xmas and then go on from there. This is a learning curve for all involved, so at this moment a bit of patience is required. OaU
Personally I like Mowbray but i don't think he can take us any further. I've loved how he has progressed the young lads while keeping us competitive towards the top end of the league but think he's reaches his limit with us. A lot of last season was players winning us games through moments of individual brilliance and I'm starting to notice some tactical naivety in him. To be honest I wouldn't mind if he went as I don't want to spur his memory but also wouldn't mind if he was here till the end of the season. I'm very open minded on the situation.
This is the thing. If you complain you're a whinger. All we heard last season was they are young. They will learn. TM says it all the time...the kids. If we don't go up this season we might start to lose some of these players. We will presumably get more young kids in to replace them...then we are in a circle. Last season was very unexpected for all of us including the higher management I'd say and it threw a spanner into the works I reckon.
This is just like old times, arguing over keeping or sacking the manager. Which manager from the past was nearest the chop but turned it round? No one is springing to mind but there must be a few.
I think we all need to calm down, we got almost £10 million for Ross so lets see where we go from here. We need a proper centre forward and a bit of good fortune.
And there you have it. What we know is we haven't been selling off players even when we could've, players are happy to come and players are happy to stay. Personally I'm not interested in a quick fix of shipping in a bunch of experienced players who might get us up but not be PL standard. I'd rather see the likes of Patterson, Huggins, Cirkin, Ballard, Seelt, Hume, Ekwah, Pembele, Aouchiche, Bellingham, Mayenda, Ba, Rusyn, Hemir, Rigg, etc ... this is all incredibly difficult to put together and manage but it's exciting and we get moments of the kind of football I've rarely seen over the last fifty years. They're a bunch of fantastic kids who don't always click ... oh dear, how will we cope. I've never been happier with the state of the club, despite the recent horrible results, and can't wait for Saturday. I've seen a lot in the last fifty years but little to make me more optimistic than I am now.
Nowt wrong with whinging but wanting rid off a manager after 15 games when the team is different from last season ( imo a worse team than last year at the moment, is nothing short of crackers ) be patient and give the bloke a chance.
We gambled on 3 inexperienced forwards in the summer and for various reasons up till now they've all drawn a blank. We should have signed one experienced one with 2 inexperienced ones as back up imo. Who should we have signed? Not my remit! Shankland maybe but he'd have been a gamble too. Yates? We tried for Stansfield...any half decent championship striker in our team would have bagged some goals.
We are nowhere near as good as last season. My opinion. We have went backwards. Last season was fantastic style of play. Wonder goals galore and attacking football. I feel we are going to concede a goal every time other team attacks at the minute. It's MY opinion.
