Slater Morton could be good and will probably be the trusted pair with Slater being the more advanced like Morton is now and Morton being the link between the back line and attackers. Genuinely don’t think Tufan is trusted

It was, twine's where not great yet again. I know Rosie has some kind of love in with Twine, but he's just not doing enough ATM. Maybe a break would do him the world of good and he'd come back stronger

I don't think dropping Twine after netting his first goal would be productive. Also, if Slater isn't starting somewhere then we'd lose his energy. Someone has to have legs in the squad and without Twine or Slater in there I think we get rolled over more often in giving the oppo more time on the ball.

Possibly not, but he's dropped other players for less.

I think we're more likely to see Macca hooked than Twine. We need to start with two wingers as often as possible though, so the Twine role is in theory a toss up of Twine, Tufan, Traore or debatably even Connolly playing off Delap. He may rotate with the run of games.

I don’t think Twine is contributing to our midfield not getting ran over ffs. He’s soft a ****e, runs about a lot fine but he didn’t make a single tackle in the game and only made 2 recoveries. Energy is great, but Longman brought that and he wasn’t/isn’t good enough…

Twine needs to do more then run around.

Chill out, Jesus. Who ****ed your mam upside down?

Twine isn't there to make tackles when playing off Delap, but he is there to put pressure on their back line, which he does all the time and has caused them to make a few mistakes and misplaced passes and prevent them surging forward where we'reat our weakest. That's about the best you can do when they could just pass it around you with numbers.

How many tackles did Philogene, Delap or Lokilo make in their half?

I find it weird that the guy has just had a good game and scored his first goal for us and it's seemingly open season. He needs to do more than run around... What do you mean, like scoring? Like he's literally just done.

I like what Twine brings to the team, and seemingly so do the management. Is he perfect, no. Is he improving game by game. Pretty much. Will he come good and score more. Time will tell.

Twine's return pass to Greaves wasn't too shabby. I just think he's trying too hard.

An attacking midfielder who’s best asset is running around. <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Longman ran around, Allahyar pressed like crazy too. He’s a “creative” midfielder and all i ever see people praising him for is pressing. He had a good half and then was back to his usual, backwards passing and ****ing up attacks with poor decision making.

As easy as his goal was. If Greaves finishes his chance he would have netted an assist as well. Was a tidy through ball as well. Genuinely think he's doing better than most make out

He's doing ok, he's not that poor he's causing big issues, but he's not doing enough to really influence much either, his set pieces are very poor so far also. I think we have others in the squad that should be now given a chance ahead of him.

If he wasn't a LR signing then I don't think he'd have started this many games with such little influence.

I think we can all admit he almost certainly should be offering more

I mean I agree he could be adding more. But he did score and he should have had an assist. As easy as the goal was his positioning for it was correct. There is a player in there. Have to remember he took a lengthy spell out

I definitely think he has more to give, which is why I said a break out the team may do him good, it's worked well for other players in the past. Plus if we are really going to challenge the play offs, then we shouldn't be playing players week in and week out who could be adding more, especially when we have others in the squad who are just as good if not better.

Problem is I dont think there is a better player waiting in the wings. Maybe Slater again gets that spell up front given his work rate and I would argue he's a better player higher up the pitch but he will need some time getting back up to fitness

That's the beauty of football, everyone's opinions can be different, I'd take Adama over twine ATM if played centrally.

Twine’s running alone gets him in the team, he’s not as bad as people make him out to be. Links play, presses a lot! And doesn’t stop running all game.

He's playing OK. But yeah, hopefully that goal settles him down a bit.
