Right backs at left back when Huggins is perfectly capable there and has played with our left winger for years going back to their Leeds days, shoehorning a 6ft 4 centre half into right back offering nothing going forward so Roberts who’s isn’t having a great season anyway is forced inside over and over, ignoring strikers runs then moving said striker to the wing and putting Roberts upfront could be here all night talking about what a mess tonight was, Millwall dreadful at home luckily for them we’re about to roll into town Saturday

Devils advocate but we are having lots of shots and not scoring because of the way the team is set up, as much as anything else. You can’t say it’s nothing to do with Tony Mowbray.

Our strikers don’t seem to be good enough, but equally we are set up to not use strikers at all. We are still set up to play without a striker.

Once again, his system is not creating any chances for the strikers. Both Mayenda and Rusyn have made great runs in the small amount of minutes they have played but we refuse to pass to them. Fair enough if they were missing 3 chances a game but i'm not sure Mayenda has had 3 shots all together

Come to think of it, if you forget what we did last year and judge just this season not sure if that makes it not so bad or worse :emoticon-0102-bigsm

the cruel irony is that if this season was last season, we’d probably all be a lot more satisfied. But that’s football. We want progression not regression

    Desperate as **** that.

Barely got started, invited them on with slow, ponderous play and inevitably conceded. Soft goal as per. Huffed and puffed before HT and thankfully found a leveller. Second half we showed more tempo and intensity and were miles on top, but then same old story though isn't it?

    1) Take your f***ing chances. Jobe 1v1 finds the keepers leg. Lift it and its a goal.
    2) Side to side, backwards, ten extra passes. Do we understand what get to the byeline means or to play the early ball?
    3) Soft as **** underbelly. That second goal is weak as piss, you deserve nothing defending like that.

Frustrated with it again, we're making a real habit of losing games that you'd be disappointed to draw. This right now isn't good enough.

Point of order. Its not TM's system its the clubs system that the recruitment is geared towards.

If a coach leaves its meant to be seamless as the next coach accepts the squad is geared up towards the system

minus Stewart, Diallo, Simms from a year ago and Mowbray has not brought any decent player in remember it was Neil who brought Diallo here we have went backwards again, we cannot do the basics like Huddersfield were doing, pathetic get Mitrovic here in January then we are talking if not i am not renewing next season. We better get to 46 points as well or is this the cave in season ? this season has gone now.

The substitutions were a joke yet again and I bet most people would have called the changes. Ba for Roberts, Hemir for Mayenda, Dack for Jobe and Pritchard for Adil.

Same tactics. Different players. Same outcome.

Then 10 minutes later finally put a second striker on but not put balls into the box for them. The subs are as predictable as our tactics and if we can see it then so can our opponents.

Tonight was a perfect game to try a different setup but unsurprisingly we didn’t. Instead we all sat in the freezing cold watching the same ****.

I'm sorry but I'd replace Mowbray me like. We create rhe square root of **** all and haven't for weeks.
Everyone says we need an experienced striker but Haaland wouldn't score goals in our team.
Get rid and get Ipswichs manager. He's got a league 1 team creating 5 golden opportunities a week and we've got loads more quality than them

They are all too static, the amount of times our creative players get to a position to cross or pass they look up and see nothing to hit or little movement, Mayeda only came alive when he went wide. JC & PR are crying out for a mobile centre forward, we haven’t got one

Stewart, Simms and even Gelhardt got chances last season. The style of play is what the club recruit for, the system is what Mowbray want it to be. We played 3 at the back under Neil often, Mowbray has changed the shape often.

Also, I love the kid but Clarke needs to start crossing the ball quicker instead of trying to beat 100 players on the edge of the box

One thing I don't like about how we set up is we've virtually ditched overlapping fullbacks/wingbacks whipping crosses in and causing chaos. It gets to Clarke or Roberts and if they can't pull something off that's the move over.

We need to get back to doing that and training our CF of choice (Rusyn for me) to make runs to anticipate the cross. We're 2 dimensional and need to open up some more lines of attack and stop trying to get Hume etc to step into CM or whatever the idea is.

Clearly the tactic of throwing on a million subs is not working but his persistence in doing it is very worrying. It’s ineffective and stopped the flow of the game.

Diallo arrived after Neil was gone. He was paraded on the pitch against Rotherham when Mowbray was in charge. And the coach has nothing to do with the recruitment

We play 4231 since promotion and the squad is geared up for that.

On very rare occasions we have played 2 up top or 3 at the back.

There are sometimes subtle differences but it's always essentially 4231, with a 10 behind a striker

    Weren't yo
Weren't you one shouting at me for blaming the lack of quality striker before? But now it's an issue ?

It's 5 in 8 defeats and we have lost half the games we have played this season. Or close enough.

Tone doesn't have Amad to mask his failings.
