If anyones interested in the Dailymail opinion of events, I recently had a telephone call with my dear old Nan. The HAMMERS are doing this, the HAMMERS are EVIL the son of the HAMMERS man was on the news and he said his Dad is a bad man even! Can you believe it! "Hmm... yeah, true, true. Aye." Almost 87 years old isn't she.

There is a question this bit in bold inevitably leads to. If the aim is to eradicate Hamas, and you don't know how many you've killed are Hamas, then how do you know you've killed them all? Which then goes back to the question, how many innocent civilians will be killed trying to find out? I've heard a rough ratio of 1 Hamas to 12 civilians. Which gives a rough figure of over a 1000-1500 Hamas killed so far (btw that's about the same as were killed on Oct 7th and it's taken 7 weeks so I'm not sure it's dented Hamas). Therefore, based on that ratio, to kill the estimated 40,000 Hamas fighters, there will be half a million civilians killed. So what's the plan here, kill half a million and hope you've eradicated Hamas?
My position hasn't hardened at all. I'm not the one trying to justify killing civilians mate. What I find unacceptable is that you repeat the same disingenuous excuses/lies as Israel to sully the memory of all those who have died or lost family. When the U.N. criticises Israel and the IDF, they and you attack the U.N. When the BBC report anything critical of Israel and the IDF, they and you attack the BBC. When doctors highlight the death and injuries Israel are inflicting on civilians, they arrest doctors, accuse the hospital of being complicit, and so do you. When hospitals run out of fuel, when the people run out of food and water, and all humanitarian aid was halted, they and you blamed it all as Hamas's fault. When civilians are being killed, they and you blame it all as Hamas's fault. Everyone else is wrong. It's delusional. When is Israel and the IDF going to take any responsibility? When are you going to accept they should? Think about that. Because the lives of Palestinians are no less important as Israelis mate. Think back to how you were feeling when it was dead Israelis. Anyway have a good evening.
I think the problem Israel have got, from what I've seen of media interviews with Palestinian people, is that Hamas are their fathers, sons, grandsons, so theoretically you are never going to wipe out Hamas no matter how many you kill. So there is not going to be a solution that will meet the Israeli demands, whatever that maybe, which is from what I see, push them back as far as they possibly can. It's like putin pushing kids to the battle front and putting them in the distasteful notion of a meat grinder, and trying to over power Ukraine through sheer numbers, the thing is Israel is never going to over power every armed human that wants to erase them, because neither side seem to have any boundaries about who they slaughter. I think the easiest solution by far is someone to put a bullet in Nettys head and the next person that steps up has a bettter rational than what we see at the moment. Personally if it was me and I was Israeli I'd just get the fook out of there (Israel), why would I want to live in an area where the lunatics that all border me, want to erase me. Take away the religious aspect, and it's just a convenient outpost for the Americans.
A glimmer of hope in the depths of the gloom in film footage I've seen today - masked, bandana wearing, Hamas gunmen handing over Israeli child hostages to the Red Cross / Crescent - as the kids climbed into the RC vehicle and sat down they waived to the gunmen - and the gunmen actually waived back - a moment of refreshingly genuine humanity in an inhuman conflict ...
I think that bit is absolutely it And until we have some honesty about this, then it will just go on and on. From what I've heard and read, Israel's priority was to destroy Hamas, the hostages were secondary. It was the Americans who told them, hold on, no your priority needs to be the hostages. That was partly because there are/were many American hostages in Gaza. It's been the Americans who have driven this ceasefire and Israel has listened. On the other side, there's no doubt that Hamas are exploiting this to show it as some sort of PR victory, but it's a hollow one imo if the fighting restarts, which is why they're desperate to keep the hostage exchange going. There's an opportunity here, if ever there was one, to find a long-term solution. The other thing is Netanyahu's political career will last as long as this war. When it's over so is he. The cynic in me thinks he'll carry on to keep himself in power.
^^^ This You can’t eradicate Hamas, because Hamas is an ideology… born out of oppression by Israel. If you kill every Hamas combatant now, they will simply be replaced by even more emboldened men who will commit to the cause to fight. It doesn’t even matter if they are called Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian resistance army… whatever. Until Israel can reconcile that they need to seek a two state equitable solution, there will always be an incarnation of Hamas
If you change the word from American to cult then you be able to see why the Rothschild family got approval from its cult members in the first place

Israeli soldiers have shot an 8 year old in the head and a 15 year old in the chest on a street in Jenin (West Bank). There's a video going round. Both killed. But listen folks, Hamas are evil and the IDF are the good guys Maureen Lipman will tell you they were human shields used by Hamas to protect them under some hospital in Gaza.
Luckily he's just trying to help those poor 'ethnic Russians' instead of waging a war for territorial expansion... https://x.com/AlexKokcharov/status/1729807451325702568?s=20 Oh wait...Guess it was just a lie. Let's wait for Russia to take over Eastern Europe then we can do some referendums.
Blinken is taking a hard line against violence by extremist settlers - good. Only a Netanyahu govt would stand for such an appalling downward spiral.
