The truth is he was in the managerial wilderness when we offered him a route back into football, unfortunately he seen us as a stepping stone to Stoke even though a blind man on a galloping horse could see that we certainly had the greater potential. That being said he had more faith in his own ability than our club did (which on reflection they made the right choice to let him go) I never had a problem with him leaving my problem was always how he done it.

Great thread as usual @RTB <applause><applause><applause>.

I'm going for a 3 - 1 win, with Rusyn to get his first. Clarke and Neil with the others.

As an aside, been to the RVI today with the Mrs for an MRI scan. She's was terrified, so they let me go in with her. They offered her a choice of music to play in the background, she just said anything will do.

First song on.....Elvis Presley, Can't Help Falling In Love.

    It's a sign I tell tha....

Fingers crossed at least one of our strikers will get off the mark tonight.

You can tell that confidence is low among them all, just need one of them to score and that will give them all a bounce. Even if it goes in off the strikers arse.

Ideal opportunity to try a two up front tonight. Rusyn plus one.

Although we'd have to look at a 3-5-2 because we can't do a two in central midfield.

i know it happens but i am not a great fan of thinking about when a manager/coach's time is up...when it happens (and it will at some point) i prefer to just suddenly see it in print.

i do think when that manager was mentioned during the summer that 'some plan' was in place for TM but the fans spoke and he gained this season, i also think that the plan was not a slight on TM but just part of the long term plan, i would love him to end up with a job in the youth set up as i feel he would be excellent for that and something that keeps his interest in the game without having to be as active as the first team coach demands.

Agree completely. I think Rusyn needs a.n,other.

but TM said he needs to work out if Mayenda is better coming off the right as well.

No idea, this us why I simply post on a forum and manage new application training and implementation as a day job!!

It’s gone a bit stale and we aren’t putting the chances away, we know these are gonna come and do a Newcastle “park two busses” so we need to switch it up a little so they don’t know exactly what we are gonna do. Just my opinion of course

I was on a train earlier and going through my phone deleting old contacts as I tend to do.

Even after that I still have 137 contacts that begin 'SAFC' ...

... if I messaged them, all at the same time, I could start a rumour that would become a fact before bedtime.

I went to look at the link Tees had posted and found out out nothing new about SAFC ...

... but I did enter a competition to win a motorhome, spotted an old mate up for GBH and was accepted for a £10,000 loan <laugh>
