I am not certain but he did attend most of our home games before he was appointed, so just a guess from me
It's an idea Clocky but I don't think Murty would offer anything that Mowbray doesn't. I honestly think Speakman and KLD have a shortlist and know exactly who they want. I love Mowbray but these are hard nosed business people who will see targets not achieved as failures. They won't be scared to take the necessary decisions to achieve promotion irrespective of cost or who they upset.
I agree with this 100% anyone not realising this should remember we were 3rd in league one and the manager was sacked
Seems a good idea for those who wish to stand - and it makes it an area to avoid for those who wish not to. Common sense all round
Probably not, I was day dreaming about the Liverpool set up back in the day, but that was a long time ago and theres not many Bob Paisleys about these days.
Alex Neil grossly overplayed his hand back then, and I doubt TM would do that tbh., but you never know. Speaking of Alex the Stoke fans are damming in their criticism of his game management, which is a surprise as I thought it was his great strength when he was here. And therein lies the rub, there's no certainty in football , but plenty of opinions and all mostly valid, its the nature of the beast. OaU
I’m really happy he’s ****ing up just for the way he left, don’t mind anyone moving on but to sit and watch there game while he was officially still our manager was disgusting and it seems he’s getting a bit karma for it.
Thing is clubs will look at his track record. He walked out on us to take over Stoke and he hasn't done that much there. Add his other jobs that he's had and the only jobs he could be offered may be at the lower reaches of the championship or lower
He did well here when given a squad to work with, same with his first season at Norwich and Preston. As soon as he is given free reign over transfers he falls apart
