Does anyone know for definite what the attendance was? HDM says 18766 and I think that's what they said on the commentary, but everyone else seems to be saying 19766.

Walking down Walton Street at about 7.20pm I asked someone if the game was on? It was that quiet.. He said definitely, then something about two home games in four days, lack of money, Christmas etc....I said 'true, very true...' lack of money, energy bills etc etc...etc...means crowd figures will continue to see-saw for the foreseeable.

His stats for this season at Palace. Dropped out the squad recently so might be possible but could be a managerial change there before long which might change things.
Obviously changes game to game depending on opposition, but ones that are there purely for City? Maybe 5 or 6 regular outlets there. Obviously BBC, HDM, then a couple of local papers and radio stations like West Hull FM and 107FM.

It does, pretty much all the attendances last night were at least a couple of thousand below normal average attendances... Watford average attendance this season 18,557, last night 16,714. Middlesbrough average attendance this season 26,825, last night 24,502. Coventry average attendance this season 24,141, last night 22,790. Cardiff average attendance this season 22,031, last night 18,248.
