Well, pity we conceded the goal, but it was just too easy. Morton excellent as was Jaden, Lokilo had a good game, and a shout-out for the ref, she had a good game, hardly noticed her which is always a good sign.
Fantastic game, and finally those bits of luck fell our way that people have bemoaned the last few weeks. Couple of tap ins and a cheeky finish from Philogene, could or should have been more but never going to turn down scoring 4 goals at home to comfortably ease past a team like that. I can't help but feel that's the way the Huddersfield game could have gone if we'd scored early on. 6 goals in 7 games for Philogene is incredible and we're going to do well to hang onto him next summer.
The key tonight was scoring early, when the second went in it was game over. Their keeper was excellent, otherwise it could really have been 8,9, 10... (one to watch BTW only 25) ... another key for me was the width that Lokilo offered, good spot whoever scouted him. Very composed performance but against a bang average side who we should have put more past. I'm still in the minus side on Twine - as for Morton he wouldn't have needed a shower afterward he's that good.
Lokilo was very good again but his biggest strength is the space he gives Philogene, or the time he gets when he himself has space. Hard to explain quite what I mean, but he just still doesn't convince me as one with any end product - which is fine to an extent, he plays his role in the side very well - but still think if we can get Rak-Sakiyi in January and have two 'proper' options on the wings in him and Philogene we could tear the league apart.
Space created by 2 out and out wingers is Roseys tactical preference. I'd be surprised if we don't go for another in Jan.
Great performance against an awful opposition, our passing was much braver today, loved seeing more passing down the middle and trying to thread it through instead of constantly going down the wing UTT
The problem is he doesn’t seem to trust his right foot. He NEVER tries to beat his man on the outside and never crosses with his right. Coaches need to force him to practise that.
