Magpie Lane in Oxford used to be Gropecunt Lane - random pub quiz factoid for you all

Not an uncommon street name back a few hundred years ago. Nowadays they're called other things like Grape Lane but many towns had a Gropecunt lane and it was for exactly the reason it sounds.

There was an interesting street name in Chopwell that was changed about 20 years ago, anyone know which one I'm talking about...

Newcastle United youngsters make history and stun PSG before a ball is kicked in Champions League
Newcastle United Under-19s made history with a first-ever UEFA Youth League win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday afternoon.

A late strike from Johnny Emerson saw Newcastle United Under-19s claim a 2-1 UEFA Youth League win at Paris Saint-Germain.

Scott Bailey gave Newcastle a 1-0 lead at the State Georges-Lefèvre at half-time before PSG's Senny Mayulu was shown a red card shortly after the break following a second bookable offence. Mahamadou Sangare levelled things up in the 85th minute for the hosts before Emerson snatched a late winner three minutes later.

Think we'll require at least two PSG red cards tonight.

My God, that bench is very bare looking.

We’re in a decent league position and 5th can get CL again. We might as well just accept the defeat here and look the League Cup and getting players back for the league assault, which itself can be heavily strengthened in Jan. The numbers we’ve generated just from these 6 matches will flatten FFP in the Summer then we can get a bit more organised. Plus Howe will be a little bit wiser.
