still won 9 home games in a row in the champ, including teams such as brum, west ham, boro forest and leeds
Not really worried,I'll be down there, the boys will be doing their best, they've got more to lose than us (they are the deserved hot-shots) and Bristol City will get a result,I hope.. A perfect day,we will win, good luck to the Southampton fans, they are a good mob but I pray we will win and they lose.... 2-1 to the Cityyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....
This will be tougher than Coventry and we nearly managed to mess that one up, but the hesitant City defence won't be able to cope with the power of the lamb!
Wiz we Always play better against the top teams, bring it on I say. What a time to play the top team. Will show us how much we have improved against the top team in the champ.
It's gonna be much a harder test than the Millwall game, I think any positive result will be a bonus and lift the confidence of the players even more.......It's gonna be a good un!!
We're not fantastic away. I'm slightly worried about this one in terms of racking up points...which is addictive to think about, especially when I don't get to see many games. Coventry was actually us turning a corner away, cause even though we fought back at Reading and Derby and could have won each game late on ...we hadn't won since mid-aug away until 2 weeks ago. I expect City to have done their homework and will attack us straight off, and it's imperative we don't concede early. It has the makings for a good game.
can definitely see a lambert goal in this, hope it is decisive so he can stick it to the fans that abuse him
Please explain the difference, in L1 we pissed over the opposition, in the championship we are pissing on our opposition
In the lower division 'we' were "pissing over" which suggests to have liberally doused the target in wee. In this divison 'we' are "pissing on" which suggests a tactical techinque of fixing the stream of wee on a particular area?
Hee-hee..! Clearly you don't know our Rickie Lambert. He's nothing like the very good striker we bought from Bristol Rovers. He's improved out of all recognition. Honestly, my best advice to you is to be prepared for disappointment. No offence, but just be ready to see your side lose. There's far more likelihood of the score being 0-5, than the other way around.
Want to get a few more points over West Ham...5 not enough for me. Never thought I'd be saying that at the beginning of the season! A draw would be ok bearing in mind our home form, but I hope our away form improves (though only losing 2 is hardly cause for despair). I'm going for 2.0 or 3.1 to Saints.
i know Southampton fans have every right to be confident, but the way there going on you would think there Barcelona.... but i like it when other teams are like this towards us, west ham fans were like it, even millwall predicted a hammering for us, but we will just keep going along, keeping our heads down, and if southampton get beat, i hope they realize they wont run away with the league
