Is it just me that finds using the squad number below the picture instead of their names in the line up graphic annoying.?
Players are allowed to use first or last names on their shirts, but you have to apply to the league to use a first name and it needs to be distinctive. On rare occasions, the league will also allow nicknames, as long as it's the name a player is normally known as (like Chicharito at Man United/West Ham).
There's exceptions as well. Like with Dele Alli not wanting his last name due to links to his father. Granted Dele is quite distinctive anyway but just using it as an example
As part of a FIFA trial to help develop respect for the person behind the whistle, referee's will have their names printed on shirts from next season. Look out for the likes of ****er, twat, **** and top female official...sweet cheeks.
I've just watched the behind the Tigers video of the goal which was taken behind the goal and it doesn't look like handball, more he chested it in. I think he looked across to the lines man and saw his flag up, so looks as if it was given offside. However, Delap's off load back heel for Christie for Jaden goal was a lovely piece of skill.
Cooper's report in the HDM said offside, in fairness their commentators were waffling in occasion. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
