Konchesky, Gallagher, King, Peltier and St. Ledger all had very good games

Great strikes from Gally. Keeper had no chance

Ha ha! I love interviews with losing managers. Freeman said they should have won 3-0! <laugh>

Not really, just the save shown on there and another comfortable one from a header at 0-0, there were some good and important blocks from our defenders however.

    What about St ledge?

Caught the bit where he collided with Mills, he has been suspect so far this season, so this game must have give him some confidence!

I thought the whole defence looked pretty good today, Konchesky looked troubled now and again against some pacey wing play, but we dealt with most things quite well.

I always said St. Ledger would play better next to Mills then Bamba. Mills put his body on the line like usual and SSL carried on his ROI form

No doubt St Ledger and Mills did well today but I was a bit annoyed to hear people writing Bamba off on the radio on the way back. For me he's still easily our best centre back.

We've had this debate before. Bamba is our best CB, but I think Mills and St Ledger are a better unit. So it's a difficult situation...

I think Bamba needs to change his game a little. By that i mean dont live on the edge as much or Pearson may get rid of him

Its gunna be tough for NP to drop either of Mills and St Ledger after a clean sheet, will prob take the same side to pompey, maybe swap Bamba for Abe so we can straight swap CB for CB, or see what he can do as a deep lying midfielder <ok>

Bamba has played as DM before - ironically under Sven when he was the Ivory Coast manager.

Does anyone else think that yesterday was the first time Beckford actually looked like he fitted in.

I think Pearson seen some stuff he was happy with and some he wasnt like the one on one where he tried to be clever and it backfired

I'd probably add Wellens to that list as well. Konchesky got skinned a few times by Zaha and Clyne but overall, I think he was steady defensively but it was his play going forward that impressed me.

With regards to Bamba, he is our best CB & one of the best in this league and was forming a good, solid partnership with Mills in between all the suspensions. I also don't think him playing out from the back is something we should get rid of in his game because it is an asset to us. Maybe I think Nigel could just get him to be a bit more competent about when he does then he'll be fine. However, that said, I think Mills and SSL should stay next game because they both played well and that is how it should work within an squad.

I think Sean St. Ledger will play next game as that will send out the right message. Bamba lost the shirt through suspension. SSL came in a did well so he should keep the shirt

I thought he gave the ball away/was dispossed more than any other Leicester player

things seemed to break down when the ball came to him

His hold up play and first touch need to be improved but there was some good things to come from him. Leeds fans said Beckford is a finisher not a build up player
