Sarr has been out of sorts in our past few games. I think he's had too much thrown on him in a very short time frame. He's really been thrown in at the deep end this season and I think a game off or at least on the bench could do him some good.
Welcome to the board. New members come along as often as trophies here, so all new additions are welcome surprises. There's also the issue that @brb responds to emails with smoke signals and crippled carrier pigeons, so things sometimes take longer than anticipated.
I don’t think playing in the Maddison role last time out suited him as much as that right-sided role that he’s made his own. Hopefully Bentancur or GLC gets a go there because I think they’re better suited to the role, no matter what you think of the latter. Having Destiny back will also be big for us.
Optimistic about the future of the club with Ange but seriously pessimistic for the rest of 2023 starting with current flavour of the month Aston Villa tomorrow. City away next week could be looking at 4 defeats in a row! need to somehow muddle through in top 4 contention until January when hopefully we get some in plus players back.
Well we've reached the point where someone on r/coys sees a 15 year old debut for Milan last night and asks why Vuskovic can't play today Amazing how so many stupid questions can be answered with a photo of Nigel Farage, isn't it...?
The team and subs shows how shallow our squad is tbh. Villa are a very good team so I hope no one expects for anything from this match.
Absolute vibes from that team. No defending, just vibes. Excited for the first match after international break but it could be a long afternoon with that defence.
It’s awful Shows the complete lack of quality in the squad. Has a team ever started a game before with no centre backs?
I might be misremembering, but didn't Man Utd once start a match with Gary Neville and Nicky Butt as CBs?
