Over an hour without responding to a post. Is somebody available to do a welfare check?

First half was poor. Thought Allsop was at fault for both in my opinion. Some real passengers including Tufan and Seri. The former I am almost contemplating saying it’s worth trying to find a bidder in the summer. We could maybe fetch a decent fee and his wages off the books could allow us to bring in some decent consistent players.

The latter, like the rest of the team, vastly improved second half. Credit to Rosenior to take a punt early. Not only did he change the lineup he changed shape. Having Christie play in that inverted role and stepping into midfield allowed Morton to push on and show his creative best whilst also keeping a lot of defensive stability with Christie.

Coyle being on the left allowed Jaden not to be marked by 2 men every attack and good lord did he benefit from it. I’ve said it on here before but he is unplayable for championship defenders.

it does beg the question of if Rosenior and co have that in their back pocket why not be brave and try it. Yes it does leave some holes defensively but that was some of best creative play I’ve seen in 45 mins. I fear he goes back to being defensively solid first against Rotherham when in reality it’s likely to be another game like huddersfield.

Good point in context. Bring on Rotherham

If Rak Sakyi comes in then surely that's the end for Allahyar and Sinik?

And Bird would probably be the end for Doc too.

Doc was gone in the summer till he got that injury. I would also be rid of Allayhar and Sinik anyway. Need rid of some of the deadwood and they’re big parts of it. Can imagine Sinik got a decent wage with his big transfer fee to boot

Pretty sure Allahyar would have gone in summer but for picking up an injury also.

I think Philogene and Lokilo offer us an excellent threat on both sides. Twine needs to be given a run centrally - Tufan looked so far off the pace today.

I can’t get my head around Christie - great ball in for Morton’s goal but his run when he went straight at a defender and his legs buckled and he fell into the Swansea full back had me concerned. I’d understand it at the end of a game but not coming in as a sub. Think he’s been carefully introduced perhaps more going on than just his injury lay off :emoticon-0112-wonde

He’s more Horne & Corden than Monty Python.

    Pitiful.

Apologies for derailing a good spat…but are you referencing Alex Horne?
Just this night I had a long, admittedly slightly pissed, debate about AH.
I love his taskmaster stuff, but find his other stuff ****e
Brother has known him for decades and claims he’s a brilliant musician / bandleader who has built up from there, from doing taskmaster for years at Edinburgh before getting it on tv. (as a result he’s loaded, but that wasn’t either of our points)
I assume, if you meant AH, that you don’t find him funny?
If that’s the case you’d be correct…and my brother is simply wrong.
    FACT
    ?

    Marginal, unlucky but ultimately correct.

Would take more balls from the lino to rule against the home side.

    But can't fault the decision.

So why were the replacements being looked at on a lower wage? Oscar would have been on a much higher wage than a Villa academy graduate.
