Been to see Napoleon. The battles of Austerlitz and Waterloo are magnificent inbetween him sh*gging Josephine a lot.
Ages ago, I remember reading/hearing that the term ‘sweet smell of success’ originated from Josephine visiting Napoleon after a successful battle. The story went that he wouldn’t let her wash downstairs on her lengthy journey to him – hence the smell when she arrived and his attention went south.
She's always getting her fanny out, it's more prominent in the film than the battle of Trafalgar, it saved her from the guillotine.
Watched the creator last night in the cough cough stick… I really enjoyed it, there’s a piece of music just as the credits come on called “ Clair de lune “ I may take piano lessons this coming year and try and play it at my daughter’s wedding. Or I may just not.. just a dream just a dream…
What is that on, please? The first series of is one of my all time favourites. Enjoyed the others but difficult to match up to that though the second one had a good attempt. Would like to watch the latest one.
