Funny how they always play well when they're chasing a game. If only someone could educate the manager and tell him only attacking football can win you a game, not xxxxing about at the back and inviting trouble.

For somebody as tall as Delap he hardly ever heads the ball

Scoring 2 goals isn't the reason we dropped 2 points though and that's what I'd said about the game..... But fair enough I should have included 2 goals scored

I reckon we are one spark away from a forest fire. Got to keep believing. Too much knocking of a team that is in the playoff positions.

He did against Huddersfield, and hit the bar, but I agree, he needs more crosses.

Oscar scored 3 headers for us, one of those was into an empty net from a yard out. Hardly dominant. Oscar was a poacher, but delap is twice the player with his back to goal and far better on the ball. I don’t even think it’s close.

The summariser on BBC's Final Score; seemed to summarise us succinctly in just three words: "Hull City, wasteful."

I'm not sure it's 'knocking of a team'? More a few moans borne out of a frustration that if we stop giving away gifts we could be even higher in the League?

I thought we'd have too much for them today and backed the result(away win) accordingly with Bet365...Frustration is one word that's floating around in my noggin at present.

He had a headed goal disallowed for offside today in the second half.

I think we all have to accept now that the problem is the central midfield. The fact that we dominated the second hald after completely changing all our CM players must surely prove that. Fall into line all you doubters!

I don't think anyone is calling for Oscar instead of Delap. It's having the options of Oscar, Delap and Connolly we want.

And if we had an unlimited budget I'm sure we would.

If your budget can't carry 3 strikers then something's gone wrong.

Exact same post is on the BBC site, word for word, including the erroneous semi-colon.

Are you copying and pasting other people's posts, or amplifying your own?

I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers

Oscar won't be coming back unless something goes tits up, but we had money on the table for Davis in the latter stages of the summer window, so I expect they'll revisit that position in Jan.
