As i said yesterday we struggle against weak opposition, yet pit us against Ipswich or Leicester and you will see a great performance for 90min, it's bloody frustrating, but as some have said until we sort this out we are not in for the auto's. Pfft good afternoon everyone
Question is do we waste too much game time dicking about passing back & square in our own half when we're playing opposition we should be comfortably beating ? Rotherham played a high block first half which allowed us all the time we wanted as long as Cooper or Rodon were in possession, but they then attempted to win the ball back when we played it short and forward. This block involved 6 Rotherham players being in our half and then sometimes 7 as they became so confident we'd still try playing through them. 75% possession 5 shots on target 3 corners That's not good enough over the 90 mins.
It's my fault we ****ed up. It was my 60th yesterday and the day started ****, continued ****, and then Leeds put the icing on top of the steaming pile.
I blame LoL, he mentioned that we never do well after the international break, I then went and use facts to prove him wrong, then the team went and used performance to prove that facts can be a lie
Where is that list of second clubs owned by pl clubs. Read it earlier and now can’t find it. Having a chat with a lad here about It
I think it was an EU-led attempt to straighten out contract situations, bringing all countries into line. Something like that. The reality these days is that if scum were hovering above the relegation zone & being candidates to go down, they can't go out & buy a new team with a couple of months to the end of the season. It's one measure for keeping a level playing field, so to speak. FFP was implemented to further this cause, but we all know how successful that's been. Did I not read recently that Manc are up on 100+ breaches? Chances of them being hit with a realistic punishment? 0% imo.
It's on Sky website Eire https://www.skysports.com/football/...d-clubs-as-january-transfer-window-approaches Which Premier League clubs have affiliations with other teams? Arsenal: Colorado Rapids Aston Villa: Vitória Sport Clube, ZED FC, Vissel Kobe Bournemouth: FC Lorient Brighton: Union Saint-Gilloise Chelsea: Strasbourg Crystal Palace: Lyon, Botafogo, RWD Molenbeek Manchester City: New York City, Melbourne City, Yokohama F Marinos, Montevideo, Girona, Sichuan Jiuniu, Mumbai City, Lommel SK, ESTAC Troyes, Palermo, Bahia, Club Bolivar Newcastle: Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Ittihad, Al Hilal Nottingham Forest: Olympiakos Sheffield United: Beerschot, Al Hilal United, Kereala United, Chateauroux West Ham: Sparta Prague TBC - Manchester United: OGC Nice, FC Lausanne-Sport (subject to completion of Sir Jim Ratcliffe investment) Add to the list above Everton if the 777 takeover occurs.
Burnley & Bournemouth currently both winning so maybe Everton's points deduction has given the teams at the bottom a renewed belief that they can stay up this season.
Palace - Olympique Lyonnaise, Botofogo, Molenbeek, Florida FC Man City,- NYC, Melbourne, Yokohama, Merinhos, Montevideo, Girona, Mumbai, Lommer, Troyes, Palermo, Bahia, Bolivar, Scicilian. Brighton- Union St Gilloise Villa - Vitoria Grimeres Chelsea - Strasbourg Newcastle - most of the Saudi league Forest - Olympiacos
Without transfer windows the constant speculation around players would be unhealthy for all clubs apart from perhaps the most wealthy. Which is why the current system works well and in my opinion should be extended to include managers/coaches who are under contract.
I blame me as well. I had just posted that a sucker punch was on, one shot on target equals a goal. Happens far too often for my liking. Bloody ruined my whole weekend.
How did we ever get through a season without a transfer window we had decades of no transfer windows and guess what football developed and grew properly. transfer windows have helped clubs go into administration due to inflated transfer fees and wages
You mean before the PL was formed and also pre Bosman when players were owned by the clubs and when chairmen/owners were local businessmen who did deals over cigars and a glass of brandy. Happy days eh Doc
Watching the baggies 2 up v Ipswich. Should be 3, Phillips just contrived an outstanding miss Bamford would be proud of.
They've a good manager have West Brom. He works miracles that fella. Imagine him with such a thing as parachute payments. He'd piss this league.
