A happy hunting ground for us. Our front four has plenty of goals, but our defence is reliably unreliable. McGrandles recent good form is a welcome surprise, and our midfield looks strong, especially if Dobbo can keep away from that 5th red. So, just the defense to sort out then.
This fixture should be at the end of the season. November is just wrong. Still, we are looking good ( for 45 minutes every match) so if we can keep a clean sheet....
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67459917 McGrandles earns a start over Watson. Our bench looks ok and aside from debates over Watson/McGrandles that must be our strongest lineup at present. You’d think this should be 3 points in the bag with at least one goal from Mr May (Alfie that is).
For pity's sake Bang average. Carlisle were in 22nd place. Nowhere near good enough. Charlton have not won two games in a row in the league all season. We haven't won one game in a row since Wigan in October. Our away form is p*ss pathetic. For any team pushing for promotion this should have been a banker. I feel for those fans coming back about 400 miles. As for the team? They can bloody stay up there.
A good point for lounging around in mid-table while the top 6 teams keep piling on the points. Honestly, I begin to wonder if half our "strongest" XI are fit to wear the shirt.
