Possibly going to be our lowest away price of the season?

Finally that international rubbish is over and back to watching us play again. At least there is no more internation breaks now until March!

I think we'll win, but it will be close. 1-2 to Leeds..

How can anyone possibly suggest that Piroe plays up top? Have you seen the way we play? Rutter is a Duracell bunny. An incredible engine who's still running the oppos ragged at the end of the match. Poroe can't run a bath, far less run a defence ragged. He's a leaden-footed, fairly static big lump who scores goals - á la Lasogga (only with more goals). Remember him?

It so happens that there's a lot of rumour about today suggesting that Rutter will make the team. Hope he does, but if not, Bamford is the obvious candidate to replace him. Sadly. Joseph? Too soon? Or one of our midgets?

Piroe has been one of the top 9's in the division in a mediocre Swansea side for the previous 2 Championship campaigns. How anyone can say he isn't a capable 9 is beyond me. He's the best 9 at the club imo and he's been played out of position.

Hopefully you're right and Piroe plays up top resulting in a good performance (from him) and 3 points for the team.

At the end of the day results are more important than the Jamster being on the right side of any debate <ok>

I can't believe you gave up so easily. I thought we'd at least give a couple of other posters the chance to jump in with two feet.

It's good to be back talking about Leeds after what seemed like a long international break. <ok>

Where did I say that he wasn't a capable 9? Getting a bit ahead of yourself there.

The way Farke sets out his team, the 9 - i.e. Rutter - presses, presses, presses. Are you telling me that Piroe is capable of doing that for this team? I'd argue very strongly that he can't. Not a hope in Hell. He can't press a shirt, far less a defence. Have you watched his pathetic attempts at pressing? Clearly not!

Btw, it's not about him, it's about the team, & it's Farke that sets up the team to play his way - not the best way to feature Piroe. He's in the team to score goals, & Farke reckons his present position is just fine for that. 6 goals so far suggests he might have something there.

I don't mind Rutter at 9 and Piroe deeper. I'm not sure it's optimal but as long as we are successful I'm quite happy to go along with it. I really like Rutter playing deep with his movement and ability to create. Piroe is a better finisher. Like I say, happy to agree to disagree. It's not a disaster either way around.

However, if and when Rutter is out I'd much prefer Piroe to go up top than a 2 year out of sorts Bamford who looks absolutely rock bottom. Gnonto, Poveda, Gelhardt and Summerville are all capable of playing that deeper role until Rutter is back.

I don't believe Bamford is a solution at 9. He scraped by under Bielsa but this team under Farke need to be more clinical than Bielsas team and he just isn't it. Never was to be fair.
