It's what I really think .. been saying it years he gets dragged all over the place and wants to be deep all the time. Can't you see the difference between him and Botman? He's not good enough mate.
Honestly he's absolutely ****. Much like shelvey he has a section of the fanbase fooled, but when he's gone the club will move forward.
I don't why you keep going on about him, we don't have any one else at the moment so he'll be there till we do.
This is what I got when I said Joelinton had all the attributes to play in the middle. I don't rate lascelles I think he's awful but it's not my view that matters. I'll just wait.
Ah, so you didn't say he would be a good DM, you were just asking everyone else if they thought he might be good. Riiiight.
We're getting beaten in this, I'll explain why. We play exactly the same way, regardless of available personnel. We've changed tact just once in the past, I dunno, 18 months or so, against Man U in the cup when an early injury forced us into a 4-5-1, with an actual DM and it looked quite decent. We will line up 4-3-3 in this, and not change. Chelsea always seem to do well against "bigger" clubs who go on the front foot and we're some distance behind the likes of City, Liverpool, who only managed draws. However, we are trying to be a big club even though we're lining up with people like Lascelles, Almiron, Murphy, Longstaff and I think that plays to Chelsea's strengths as we have mistakes in us all over the place, most obviously with Bruno G. We also have one eye on a huge match against PSG (which we'll also lose). We're entering a difficult period for the club, I feel, and it'll be interesting to see if we show patience - I suspect we will for now.
Go ask your nurse for some meds mate. Murphy and Longstaff are out. We play counter attacking high pressing not attacking football. Most clubs play a preferred formation and this is ours.
Preferred, yes - not definitive and absolute..... Better teams just let us have it (can't counter) then pass between our lines when we press. It'll happen again tomorrow.
Read the thread I know it pains the lot of you because the narrative is that because I think out the box I'm wrong, but unfortunately for you Howe did too.
I think you might be right. I'm not sure I think Newcastle at home is tough ... I think a draw might be the one.
I think longstaff is maybe OK mate... Howe suggested he was in the presser. Ultimately there's really only Botman, Barnes and Wilson out who are of any significance. Lacselles is the only area of the 11 that is completely below the required standard so I think newcastle have a reasonable chance actually.
