Very young kids get stabbed in Dublin, so thugs take to the streets and start smashing the place up and looting, not sure how that is supposed to help but hey ho.
Learned behaviour mate, You see people on the news looting shops and smashing stuff up when something totally unrelated to said shops and stuff happens then you can use it as an excuse to get a vew TV or pair of trainers.
Seems to be something behind it all that's being kept a bit under wraps at this point in time - hints that rioting is being driven by 'right wing' agendas and that a 'hostel' hotel has subsequently been targeted by the rioters? Thing is - whoever you are and whatever your motive - attack Irish kids and you will be inviting mayhem ...
Probably earning their badges before being granted a caravan to then tour the uk and spread their mess
That. Or large parts of Dublin are a ****hole and that breeds mongs. Seems this rioting has mostly been driven by an extreme reaction to migration, which the Irish right wing claims is destroying the country. So, the same racist hoodie wearing goons you see in Belfast and London causing **** for no good reason fuelled by old men.
It always pisses me off when I see people smashing up their own town or city, just sad really. I know some might argue, but we are not being listened to, to which I reply how does smashing up and looting Footlocker make your voice any louder, you just come across as scum and will be treated like scum. It certainly does not help those kiddies in hospital, knowing some guy nicked a pair of trainers on their behalf, ****ers.
Utterly shocked to see Fosse defending this like with a statement like this: "Thing is - whoever you are and whatever your motive - attack Irish kids and you will be inviting mayhem ..." He forgot to add "... If you're brown." That's the overarching issue here, people started to post on Irish socials false information that it was terror related, it has nothing to do with defending Irish kids or integrity. They took an incident and race baited ****ing divs into kicking off. Hook line and sinker. Like you rightly say, a kid is stabbed "ooh let's nick some trainers"
Strange actually because when I first heard the news, I hadn't even given it a thought of it being terror related (it wasn't), hearing it was kids at a school, made me think it was some domestic incident, especially as I'd heard a woman had been stabbed to. Then the cops started reiterating it's not terror related, so well yeah I'd already guessed that much - then later in the day I was shocked to see people smashing Dublin up, the world has gone mad, please never lock people down again.
I saw a very brave woman and an American tourist jumped on the attacker to prevent the crowd beating him to death. "We aren't savages in this country" she said. Well, apparently some are
I'm of Irish Catholic descent - although not religious and despise sectarianism in any shape or guise ... went to a Catholic primary school in Leicester back in the 60s where there were also a good number of kids of Italian, Polish and Spanish descent as well as lots from Irish roots - fair to say that 'family' is at the core of all those cultures - and hence my observation - which also hints at my suspicion, before, it was confirmed, that the perpetrator was probably an immigrant ...
I'm of the exact same decent and went to both an Irish Catholic primary and secondary school. All that said, I don't defend the actions of thugs who smashed up Dublin because of some warped right wing anti-immigration ideology
Who's defended them ya daft twat? - my observation was merely that there was more to the news than the press were initially reporting The comment about the Irish and their kids was not in justification of what a bunch of right wing hooligans and subsequently looters then did in reaction ... For the avoidance of doubt, I am 100% of the same view as @brb on this one - I have absolutely no idea why anybody would think that smashing up your own nneighbourhood was in any way helpful or appropriate...
On this topic it only took two shoves for you to come out and just say something concrete without being a slippery prick. Perhaps you can teach an old dog new tricks But message has been received loud and clear Fossil No one on this website should even consider attacking an Irish kid.
