I'm willing to admit that he turned out to be a ****, but he left the club in far better way than when he arrived and for that we should be grateful. I'm not even remotely bothered about him having gone though.
It's irrelevant, he still did his best for us while he was here, and for that fact we are now better off. So let him go we move onwards and upwards, thanks to him and his backroom team we have a good young valuable squad with a great spirit amongst them who will only keep improving and going up in value.
You told me I was talking out my arse when I brought it up, and that he told you he was very happy to be here. Turned out I was right though...
Turn it OLM - You're all over everybody's boards, or are you governed by different rules than us mere proletariat
"we have moved on" this thread was started on your board wasn't it? I hope we can all move on, but your dig suggests not......Im not getting carried away with our win today...you can with yours yesterday, if you wish....Im sure if we have a bad result we shall get a visit from all of you who have moved on...and some of you will visit in any case...
Someone creates a thread, about Leicester V Palace, on the Hull forum, then attempts to belittle the result at that time, a game which Leicester go on to win 3-0, then start bitching about Leicester fans on *our* forum, who are pretty much just responding to trolling, when we have some of the biggest WUMs who love winding other fans up on their boards...mixed in with the biggest arsehole on the entire site trying to wind OLM up with smugness about something noone really cares about... Thats these forums now. **** this.
He did tell me he was happy to be here, he seemed sincere, but evidentially he wasn't. If you'd ever met him, I might take your opinion more seriously, but you were busy at school adding up at the time and as your opinion on AP, NB, PD and JB are all completely ****ed up dim nonsense, I'm sure you can understand why I might not take your opinion too seriously.
I agree completely with most of your first paragraph, pretty poor show as it was created by our moderator. I dont dislike Leicester, never have, dont get why its gone on all summer. Makes us look small. But the bit about Percy is wrong. The kid has stood up all along and been used as a whipping boy, yet none of those who have called him a c*** have had the balls to say, "ye you were right he didnt want to be here". Which has been Percy's point all along.
Dutch just put up details of how to listen to the game if anyone was interested, it was hardly an anti-Leicester thread. TWF's has been calling **** out of Pearson, Pearson and Barmby all year, just because he was right about one of them, doesn't get him a let off on the others. He remains a **** as far as I'm concerned, purely because he's the most piss poor excuse for a City fan as I've ever come across.
With the game between us both coming up very soon i'd expect there to be a lot of banter flying about between both sets of fans over the next two weeks. As a side close to us in the league it'll be a big game, i'd take that first over the fact Pearson will be coming back. Leicester are welcome to Pearson imo, he's chosen to go back there and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Barmby stepping in appears to have worked perfectly so far and long may that continue.
All credit to you Percy, it did turn out that you were right about Pearson, but you can't take much credit because you were right for the wrong reasons. Your hatred of him began before he walked in the front door simply because he was appointed by AP. Similarly your hatred of AP began when he replaced one of your heroes and then put the other on Gardening Duty. I don't mean to be rude, but your ire is often irrational and sometimes even feminine. You seem to put some people on a pedestal and beware anyone who opposes them, in fact beware the wrath of a Percy scorned.
One out of three is pretty good for us idiots on here isnt it? The whole concept that C*** didnt want to be here, maybe just maybe, he played and set up the team not to lose to protect his CV?? As DJ has documented many times 2 mins to go in games and 4 men back on the half way line. He was here for himself.
One out of three might well be as good as it gets on here. I'm not buying any conspiracy theories with regard to Pearson, I think he just set up the team in the same way he sets up all his teams and to be fair, it was reaping rewards, though I think that with Barmby in the chair, we're likely to see a far more attacking approach. Regardless of how much he did or didn't want to be here, it was always just a job to him, as it is with almost all football managers(current incumbent excepted).
