I think the best idea is to have the detection zone just before the first corner.. FIA have ruined DRS, it could be so much better with a bit of common sense.
Rather than DRS, I wonder if they could instead allow the car behind an extra few seconds of KERS. That way they get into the tow of the car infront but don;t have the stupid speed advantage that DRS can give which makes some overtakes look pointless.
They should just not have DRS for this race; Interlagos really does not need it and there is no place suitable for it.
Maybe DRS between turns 3 & 4 only, but definitely not on the start/finish straight and certainly not on both.
I have a problem with that. If a car comes out the pits and another car on the straight is using the DRS and end up going wheel to wheel with the car they are overtaking then problems could occur.
They are a bunch of ****ing ***gatrons, why is F1 the pinnacle of motor-sports? when it is really a big joke.
I hate DRS. ****ing stupid idea, I hope they scrap it for next year, it's ruined more races than it's made.
The problem is that DRS is the only way to make the **** tracks even half bearable, but it ruins the good ones, Like Spa and Interlagos (there's an argument for Canada as well, but the Button induced excitement covered it up). My solution is to ban it then pick the calender based on more than how much they can line Bernie's pockets with. Sadly we all know there's no hope of that.
I agree with comments about Drs on here, it will ruin an otherwise normally exciting race to watch. I also agree that circuits should be chosen based on entertainment value not money in Bernies pocket, Monaco being the only exception. First and foremost it should be about the sport not the money. The later follows if you get it right. Safety should also never be forgotten.
DRS has improved more races than it's spoiled, but in itself it hasn't ruined the others, the rules of it's use have, leavin the driver with no choice in it's use at all, he has to use it as soon as he is able to, there are a few ways it could be used and, for me, they have chosen pretty much the worst.
My vote makes Vettel and Alonso joint favorites. I'm guessing a Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton podium this weekend so I agree

I'd love a McLaren win but I'm thinking its a 70/30 chance that Vettel/Alonso will win. I know I've used up my 100% but theres maybe a very outside chance that Hamilton will snatch it in my opinion
