  1. Already can't wait for this game like!

Not necessarily because I'm hopeful that we could nick a point, but because It's my first time at old trafford, and I love away days. The crack is normally class.

I love when we all sing "Duh Duh Duh, Sammeh ameobi!!"

    Can't wait!!!

I just ordered me new strip. Got 28 and Sammy on the back. And just ordered a new cracking Toon santa hat. They're only a few quid on ebay, and selling like cakes!! Order one nooooooooowwwww! - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OFFICIAL-...s=63&clkid=4335199809330637856#ht_1507wt_1163

So I'm going down to Manchester and showing 100% that I love the toon.

What team do you think we should play?

I don't know if we should play Tiote, even if we think he could play. I want us to be at full strength for Chelsea because I think we can take something from that game at home. Chelsea will be tough and they will come at us harder than ever, after two bad losses to two teams they didn't want to lose to.

This is the team I'd play at Manure -

    ------------------Ba-----------------------

    Jonas------------HBA---------------Sammy

    -----Guthrie/Tiote-------Cabaye-------------

    Raylor-----Colo-----------Taylor-------Simpson

    -----------------Krul-----------------------

I think taking Raylor out the team now for making that mistake would be a massive sledgehammer to his confidence. He's be class for most of the season, and we should stick by him.

I think It's only fair that Gosling gets some game time. The goal was simple but he got his reward for following the ball in.

Unfortunately, my heart says 1-1, head says 2-1 to manure.

Cabaye should be dropped before Guthrie if we want to bring Tiote in.

I am excited or this match. They obviously remain cear favourites but with the improvement in our squad and theirs not exactly setting the place alight it is definitely our first real chance to take a sweet and long overdue win off them in a long time. That is providing me excitement enough. A victory will go a long way to erasing the pain of yesterdays expected loss (expectig it doesnt make it any nicer)

For me it all depends on whether Nani turns up. If he's on form he could destroy Raylor.

  5. I know Guthrie has impressed more than Cabaye recently, but I'd still not drop Cabaye. When he came off vs Everton, it definitely showed. We lacked the creativity and we needed the sort of through balls and long passes that Cabaye could offer, and the match wasn't over when he went off. We held off the Everton storm just.

I'd stick with Cabaye and Guthrie tbh. Keep Tiote for the Chelsea game.

what kind of cakes? cold ones?
while you're at it you should get one of those jester hats too, or maybe get a sign that says 'knacker' and hang it round your neck <whistle>

I felt that Krul could have done better on the Balotelli pen, and we should perhaps give Santon a run out in goal since he needs some game time <whistle>

Fo my formation I would probably go with a hybrid 4-3-3 & 4-5-1

    4-5-1 in defence

    -------------------------Krul-------------------------
    Simpson------ Saylor-----Colo-----------Santon
    HBA ---Cabaye----Tiote----Guthrie-------Jonas
    -------------------------Ba---------------------------

4-3-3 in attack with HBA and Jonas allowed to pace the wings and given a free role to drift into the hole

    ----------------------Krul----------------------------
    Simpson------Saylor---Colo-------------Santon
    -------Cabaye-----Tiote-----Guthrie-------------
    HBA-----------------------------------------Jonas
    ------------------------Ba----------------------------

I really can't wait for this game. Pressure is off and we aren't desperate for points so we can play with freedom.

    -----------Krul----------

    ---Simpson --- Taylor --- Colo --- Taylor---

    -----------------Tiote---Guthrie-----------

    ---Cabaye--------Ben Arfa---------Gutierrez
    ----------------------Ba--------------------------

In all seriousness, Raylor's done well but Santon is well within his rights to expect a start, Raylor was only a short term solution.

I fancy Cabaye as much as the next guy, but Guthrie's been class and shouldn't be dropped. Tiote's just going to have to wait his turn.

I'd play an unchanged team. Sammy did well on debut, I don't know whether Obertan or Marveaux are back, but Sammy should keep his place either way.

Ryan Taylor was the only really poor performer against City, but he's been decent prior to that and I'm not convinced by Santon. The current back four are operating well as a unit and chucking a 20 year old could be catastrophic.

We'll need to score 2 to win, may aswell give them a one goal head start with the penalty that we'll concede.

Check my formation, allows for both.

Not sure about sammy, not sure what the logic is with givnig him starts during our most testing run. The pundits may think we have been untestedbut he has definitely been untested, Hes as raw as they come

Sammy did alright but I think right now he should be the impact player, he doesnt have the experience to be a PL regular yet. Obertan is meant to be fit, I'd put him back on the right.

Also, wouldnt complain about either Raylor or Santon starting but I think Santon is well within his rights to expect to. He's the man we signed to play there after all, and Raylor did have a shocker.

I want Ben Arfa to play off Ba though.

Sammy did well in our hardest fixture of the season, so why not play him in our second hardest? Neither him nor Obertan will get much joy out of Evra, but Sammy works a bit harder and I think he'll give us a bit more than Obertan. I'm not keen on Ben Arfa, Cabaye or Guthrie playing there.

Ober on as an impact sub in the last thirty? he could have something to prove (or alternatively he could bottle it dependent on his mentality). Him running at a tiring defence could reap benefits

Evra has been pretty poor this season. Man Utds fullbacks and CMs are their weakness this season. They are there to be exploited, just not at the expense of exposing our fullbacks and CBs against their wingers and strikers as we all know how lethal they are, especially on the counter

Apparently Tash is going to this game. If I don't see him, I will report back.
