Nice work there Rishi, what are you doing tomorrow 20th November 'The prime minister yesterday unveiled five new promises to voters, including a pledge to cut debt, cut taxes and deliver a “world-class” education system.' 21st November 'Many families will choose to send their children through the education system in the UK because it’s top quality. In fact, according to the World Population Review, it was ranked in 2021 as number two in the world.'
Two and a half grand a year gets you that kind of influence? I'll give them three grand a year if they arrange maths lessons for everyone who likes your post.
Clever enough to realise there's no actual information in that link you provided. Did you pay the 42 dollars to read someone's opinion?
People wanted Brexit to rid us of bumbling 'men in suits' who are only interested in filling their own pockets ... ... thats gone well Tue 21st Nov 2023 Bank of England 'The outcome of the Brexit vote and years of political uncertainty that it triggered has had a chilling impact on business investment in Britain, a deputy governor of the Bank of England has said. Dave Ramsden, the Bank’s deputy governor for markets and banking, said the fallout from the 2016 referendum had “chilled” investment levels compared with other leading nations and contributed to a lower “speed limit” for the UK economy. “It’s hard to conclude otherwise, that the decision to leave the EU – that may have had lots of goods reasons for it – but that it has chilled business investment,” he said.'l
I can't remember the economy being destroyed, in all that time, under the faceless Eurocrats. Liz Truss managed it in a fortnight
Ah okay, I thought you meant that right wing guy who got physically attacked twice in a month by leftists.
I'm not against leaving the EU, if it was managed properly, but nothing much seems to have changed. We were supposed to have reaped huge rewards, a real boost to the economy, the NHS, the low paid, etc. We're still importing from Europe, it just costs more. It's been years since we left and I doubt many people really feel happier about the state of the country if they're being honest.
Totally agree in the way it has been managed by both sides and of course currently not happy with the state of the country which has been affected by certain elements of Brexit but more importantly by the current shambles of a government But I will personally take any financial, political or social hits to ensure the end of any bureaucracy and unelected spongers .
