Tonight is a re-run of the big game previously mentioned.

    Just kicked off on BBC2.

    It's been entertaining enough.
The two quick goals for Charlton flattened things a bit.
    A few good finishes.

So Everton have been deducted 10 points. I bet the Leeds fans are livid that it didn’t happen last year. And for once I support Leeds.
Now when will Manchester City get demoted from the Premier league?

It was coming for Everton under the rules but lucky for them it came this season with the 3 promoted clubs looking odds on to drop straight back. Last season they’d have been toast.

If they win their next game they’ll be out of the bottom 3.

So Luton and the Blades are both going to lose their home games?

Mind you, I'd love to see Everton beat Manure on Sunday. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Dyche will be using this to put a huge chip on their shoulder and fire them up.

Maybe maybe not but there’s no doubt this was the season to be the one where they were penalised rather than the last couple of seasons.

For us though in the championship it would have made little difference as Everton would likely have done a Newcastle instead of Leicester.

I note two of the three clubs are suing....but surely only one would have stayed up......the one third from bottom......unless second from bottom dropped points against Everton while the other didn't?

I read somewhere City were going to sue as a result of not having Sala which cost us our PL status.<doh><doh>

    Hopefully it was a joke:emoticon-0181-fubar

Anyone watching the England game? Dreadful penalty decision against them. Referee and VAR clueless as ever.

Yep, being subjected to it courtesy of Mrs Brizzle.

Very soft but it kind of made up for the possible one by Maguire earlier.

As soft as it was, the commentary protestations do crack me up as you know if it's the other way around they're all screaming penalty!

I thought the same about the Maguire challenge. I wouldn't have argued against that. Plain clumsy.

However the Lewis incident was never a pen. He was simply clearing the ball away. Their guy wasn't even challenging, just being a nuisance. Got caught by an arm and went down like a sniper victim.

Watched 10 mins at the start of the 2nd half and 10 mins near the end. England not very convincing.

Hope our boys can put in a performance tonight.

Yes, England were not good. Much too slow moving the ball through midfield. TAA clearly not a creative midfielder. They really miss the dynamism of Bellingham.

Not a particular fan of international football but did watch that last night. Alexander-Arnold was clueless in that midfield role - his passing was dreadful and had a really poor game from the start. He should have been hooked at half time for either Gallacher or Palmer.

Foden looked pissed off having to come back deep to collect the ball rather than being fed it. Rice was very good but he was doing the job of two men. I felt sorry for Watkins being replaced by Kane. He was starved of a service - Foden genuinely tried but was playing far too deep because AA wasn't hacking it.

Terrible perfomance from a referee that made Blobby Madely look like Collina. You can blame the ref for the decisions but not the England performance which was well below par without Bellingham.

Also what does everyone see in Grealish? He's clever but never takes his fulback on and invariably cuts back inside slowing the game down and allowing defenders to regroup. He's no winger, lacks pace off the mark and is no substitute for Sterling.

I was with you until your last 6 words. Sterling has pace certainly but has been a bit of a headless chicken with the ball at his feet since signing for Chavski.

At least Wales don't have that problem. <whistle>

Well Bluey, he tore your lot a new one a couple of weeks back and then turned Man City inside out last week.........<laugh>

I'd take him, but only if he agreed to stop that bloody annoying Gillette shaving advert..........<laugh>
