Back to the domestic game for an enthralling tie between Huddersfield (21st) and the Saints (4th). After watching the dross that is England this week, it will be nice to see some proper football.

    3-0 win, please!

Another clean sheet would be most welcome. As long as we get at least one and not concede, l would be very content.

    Dross? England weren't that good.

I'd prefer a 3-0 clean sheet victory but go for the historically popular 3-1.

David Webb is the ref ? All we need is Terry Paine and John Sydenham as linos, and we`d be well sorted.

The Huddersfield fan who appeared on TSP was, iirc, surprised that there are 3 teams bad enough to be below his team, so with that in mind I hope we can set about improving our GD by a decent amount. 0-4

Strikes me as a classic Saints banana skin game. However, if we are to be serious top 2 challengers we really need to be winning it.

Knowing our luck, we'll get Ali Dia on VAR duty...

Docker Walker would be the ideal VAR official, as he would just kick all the screens into a thousand pieces.

Plus Terry Hurlock on VAR, no arguments there.

Hopefully no injuries for the returning players
A settled first team is proving very effective at present

Will be interesting to see what team Martin picks. Holgate may have earned himself another start, particularly with Bednarek having been away on international duty. I'd go with Manning at LB, need that extra attacking threat down the left and will prevent Huddersfield being able to double up on Sulemana. Looking forward to seeing more of Stewart, albeit off the bench again I suspect.

Read the opposition fans' views from Huddersfield's last two games (Watford & Hull), and it seems like the Terriers play the most negative, bus-parking, anti-football in the division.

Watford failed to score and Hull only at the very end. Could be a really frustrating afternoon. Long shots might be key. Take enough of them and you'll get a lucky deflection at some point.

Patience will be key. Do what we did against Millwall. Get Charly involved and get in behind their full backs.

How's Smallbone's injury?, would be good to have his passing and getting into good areas in the box.

Yeah not sure we should be looking at the Millwall game as a template. We only just scraped over the line, when it should have been much more comfortable. If we continue playing like that, we will drop too many points against weaker teams. We really need to up our attacking game this weekend and try to win by a more comfortable margin.
