Today in Zionism, the IDF try to justify their shelling of al-Shifa hospital by saying that the doctors followed the Hippocratic Oath and treating wounded patients ...while inadvertently exposing the lies they had been telling for weeks up to this point, because of course
There's been a lot of bullshit and lies put out by the Israeli government and IDF, a lot of it proven to be bullshit, but in this instance mate the lie is very much against this fake story. The footage on which it's based was actually IDF helicopter gunships firing into Gaza not Nova. But it was Palestinian civilians so it's ok.
That's a recipe for another 20 years of the Tories. The reality is that there are almost always enough bigots and self interested people to get 35% to vote Conservative. If the rest of the vote is split between various brands of liberal left and true socialists then the Conservatives will remain in power. The Labour Party is nowhere near being the ideal alternative but it's so much better than the Tories. As for Corbyn....I like his policies but he was a disastrous leader. It's better that the proper left wingers in the Labour Party work with a moderate and competent leader to change party policy on proportional representation and the like so we can truly vote for the policies we believe in.
Not sure he was disastrous, but was undermined by the rest of the party. He had problems with brexit because he had the bennite distrust of the institutions and is at heart a leaver. On that he was part of a small minority in Labour. He was destroyed by bogus charges of antisemitism, a ludicrous charge against someone without a racist bone in his body.
He's really not helping himself at the moment and he should really go away now. That video has a really interesting comment section. Absolutely no dissent. Kennard also blames NATO for Russia's invasion of Ukraine, so...
It should have been entirely obvious to him what would happen if he was elected leader. If it was he put his own ambition above the needs of the party. If it wasn't then he is too naive to be leadership material. Because of the way political debate is controlled in the UK, a truly left wing leader can't win a FPTP election. It's just selfish for left wingers to try to buck that trend. Also under any other Labour leader, Remain would have won.
I'm not convinced that a genuinely left-wing leader can't win under the current system. It would have to be somebody more politically savvy than Corbyn, though. The man sets traps for himself, even if you ignore the ones that the media set for him. I completely agree about Brexit, though. Corbyn was worse then useless with his stance. He was actively damaging. Those that hated him thought he supported it and those that liked him felt his support was insincere. It was off-putting to both sides of the political spectrum, somehow.
I mean based on everything coming out the Covid Enquiry, it does track that Rishi-Washy doesn't know the difference between Ireland and Northern Ireland
