How much did QPR get fined a few years back, I can't remember, was that FFP or another penalty, I remember it was massive for a yoyo club at the time
£17m + covering the EFL's £3m, plus a transfer ban The quoted figure was £42m, but £22m of that was writing off outstanding loans rather than part of the fine
Remember when football was football ,we rarely saw or knew the managers or directors and the trainer ran on the field with a bucket......and the player got up after a wet "cloth" on the "wound"? p.s. Is all this ground watering causing damage to players legs I wonder? Never had all this leg trouble when they played on hard, soft, muddy pitches week after week.Today they have a job to turn, stop, slide etc. On top of all this, the PL may have to cap transfer fees. It's getting rediculous......unless you have Man City's money!
More good news for The Sheikh Mansour Team, as Benjamin Mendy has decided to take them to an employment tribunal looking to claim the millions of pounds of deducted wages they owe him No doubt needs the funds to construct a new rape castle in Lorient
Citeh's corruption is at a completely unprecedented level - certainly as far as Football is concerned. I'd almost suggest that it dwarfs the worst examples from Spain and Italy over the years. Having lived in the UAE for a few years back around the Millennium - and having had to try and exist commercially in the region - I'm afraid that it mirrors my experience and comes as no surprise. This will all be quietly dropped over the next few years, with FIFA, EUFA and PL accepting a drip feed of 'evidence' from the club. But, like the Russia Report, the details of any resolution will never see the light of day.
Update today on the podcast...the journo investigating City has been subject to some vile abuse online from their 'fans'.
I'm not sure that I'd count that as abuse, as it's not something directed at him in a way that he'd see it. I'm sure that he has now, of course. It's Bluemoon forum and I suspect it's about suing him, though I can't find the posts themselves.
Barnsley drew their 1st round FA Cup match against non-league Horsham at home. Going to a replay in such circumstances is embarrassing, but fixable. They won against the 7th tier team at their place 3-0. All good, right? Nope, they fielded an ineligible player and have now been kicked out. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67486563 That just amateurish.
Of course, no other club would ever do such a thing... https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...arned-breaching-agent-rules-calum-chambers-fa Especially not twice https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/arsenal-fined-over-unlicensed-agent-c2q6wd7clwc
I heard this morning ,talkshite are still pushing the story that Evertons downfall with the FFP is our fault (Levy) for not paying £80 million for Richarlison
