    Liverpool started with Downing, Carroll and Henderson on the bench. That's £75 million of mediocrity that doesn't even start. It amazes me that Dogleash's transfer dealings haven't been criticised further.

    Was watching with a Liverpool supporting mate, he said he's got to the point where he just laughs at how useless Carroll is <laugh> Carroll's contribution made the ****e game worth watching

    The fact that they sold Torres for 50 million seems to have acted as a means of justification for their sporadic and ill thought transfer dealings. If I sold my clapped out banger of a car for 2 grand more than it's worth, I wouldn't then go out and spend a fortune on a robin reliant just because I have the money.

    Is Carroll on the reported £80k per week then? If so that's another £4,160,000 per year x 5 year contract = £20,800,000 on wages.

    £35,000,000 + £20,800,000 = £55,800,000.

    Lol just doesn't do it justice <ok>

    P.s. Correct my maths if I'm wrong, don't have a calculator.

    Taylor - free
    Colo - 10 million
    Raylor - (part exchange, we actually gained 6 million)
    Obertan - 3 million
    Cabaye - 4.5 million
    Tiote - 3.5 million
    Jonas - 3 million (something absurd like that, Webster ruling)
    Best - 2 million
    Ba - free

    I make that about 28 million, but then we gained 6 million in Raylor's deal, so... 22 million? <laugh>

    Our bench as well would be:

    Elliott - 0.5m
    Santon - 5m
    Guthrie - 3m?
    Gosling - free
    Marv - Free
    Sammy - academy so free
    HBA - 5.5m

    makes 14.

    22+14 = 36million, so our best team and bench costs 1million more then Carroll... <laugh>
