Shout Swanny and what a star to not only stay on his feet but also gather momentum again afterwards. Reminds me a lot of Vautour.

Superb round of jumping by Stage Star, but my goodness, that mistake at the last really shocked me, but Harry Cobden would not let that spoil the day, and in the end won impressively. What a brilliant NH jockey Harry is, I think there are a few riders around who might have taken a tumble at that final fence in similar circumstances? Bravo to the mighty Paul Nicholls team too! <ok>

20 day ban for the jockey who rode READ TO RETURN in the amateur race at Cheltenham today.
If you had backed it you would know why.

I would ban the starter for life for what he did in the 13.10 race.

Hugely impressive wasn't it. Sauntered away in front and given only a slight squeeze picked up with consumate ease.

Why wasn't Rock Danse trying? Was punted as well so that doesn't add up really does it?

Also impressed with Broadway Boy today, gives a boost to that run lto when 2nd to Flooring Porter.

More exciting racing at Navan and a few good races at Cheltenham tomorrow to look forward to as well <ok>

Any idea why Banbridge isn't coming over? I suspect they might be going John Durkan with him? Would have been nice to see him take on Edwardstone and Jonbon although I guess the ground at Cheltenham has gone against him anyway.

No idea why but your reasoning is sound enough and would be angood starting point again for him.

Edwardstone worth a punt you think? At the odds...

Interesting that our trainer buys most of his family’s castoffs from the ptp field. Can’t believe I missed his name on the race card.

I don't really like punting on a 4 horse race to be honest - if pushed I would do the straight forecast Jonbon - Nube Negre

Cobden is after developing Ruby Walsh mode relatively early in his career when going to the last Fence/Hurdle. Hopefully he recovers from it soon.

2 runners up spots which seems to be a popular spot on here today. Just watched Rock Danse race. Jockey tactics a little bizarre I thought in being reasonably prominent initially and then ending up at the back at around halfway. Having said that if I hadn’t known the result I would have expected the winner to have tied up before the end. As for the PPGC Stage Star jumped perfectly until that final fence stumble. Must have had plenty left in the tank to pick up again and win so easily. King George next?
