The story about the Stewards spending 3 hours trying to find a loophole, is pretty telling. There’s definitely a part of me that wishes they’d just taken matters into their own hands.
Thanks. It looks like Max is the only one to have 4 new sets of the hard/medium tyres left. Everyone else only has 3 new sets of the hard/mediums. So Red Bull are keeping their options open to 2 or 3 stops. I think that Max has best options plus probably the best race car so I can't see anyone else winning this bar an accident of mechanical failure. Pity as I was hoping a brand new track and limited practice might make it a bit unpredictable.
I missed it . Can someone please explain to me what happened to Perez ? did he mess it up , did the team mess it up ?
Just not fast enough and some of the normally slower cars like a Haas, a Renault, an Alfa plus both Williams were quick.
he was given 1 go to save tyres and his 1 go was not good enough. they should have gone again but sat it out.
Hi has sought 'revenge' way too many times and every time he gets away with it. He can't be allowed to keep trying to to crash into other cars or make them crash or take evasive action. Mind you when Seb crashed into the side of Lewis I don't think he received much in the way of punishment as FIA have lots of history of allowing 'revenge' sytle driving. Can't believe he is even putting it print that he did it on purpose! Definitely deserves a big penalty - mind you that would just reduce his licence cost for 2024 if they docked points.
I note that the Las Vegas Strip Street Circuit has an average rating of 3 stars on racingcircuits.info, putting it: level with Silverstone, Monte Carlo & Monza; and just a whisker behind Spa and Cadwell Park... https://www.racingcircuits.info/north-america/usa/las-vegas-strip-street-circuit.html Can't help wondering whether Liberty Media might have helpfully 'inspired' some of the wording in the Overview. Elsewhere too - these words (from the Racing under the lights section) could only have been written by someone who has F1 is in their blood...
Baffling that the Verstappen/Ocon incident didn't even appear to get investigated. Ocon overtaking on a warmup lap isn't "gentlemanly" but that rule has been broken numerous times this season. It doesn't give you the right to ruin his lap, especially when yours doesn't really matter.
basically he's a dick. everyone knows he is a dick. the fia seem to think they need him more than they actually do.
I agree. I sort of feel sorry for him as he is his Dad's creation. No idea what his personality outside of F1 is, I just hope he is a better person away from the track.
You're only allowed to make it up as it goes along if it's the last lap of the last race of the season and the WDC is riding on it
I feel sorry for his girlfriend, I`ll bet he was murder to live with all that week after Singapore GP.
Part of the preamble is promoting gambling. They should consider throwing smoking and drinking in there. Wow.
The 'own goals' keep on coming... Apparently/predictably there's now a class action against Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix (LVGP), on behalf of spectators affected by the disrupted first practice. A car in the Drivers Parade has leaked oil on the track. (Who knows - if they do a good job of clearing that up, it might end up being the grippiest part of the circuit.)
