That sums England up tonight as Rashford and Trent crash into each other. Rashford looks injured, but he's been terrible too. Rice and Palmer coming on. I never understand resting players and then inevitably having to bring them on anyway. Play them, win the game, then rest them. This is really awful stuff.
When was the last time England were booed off at Wembley? I think we're heading that way. Trying to turn it around after making so many changes rarely works.
Second half highlights - the fella that ran on to fix the lino's flag and someone getting a paper plane onto the pitch.
Although, of our six shots, he has had four of them. Still ****, though. I haven't watched a PL match for over three years, so I haven't got any suggestions, but surely there must be better (attackng) players than the defensive set-up Southgate started with?

The obvious one being Bellingham, who's injured. He could have started Grealish, especially with Rashford so out of form. Hopefully that's Gallagher's last chance. Shame Eze is only just coming back from injury, because he's another one and has more ability in his little toe than Gallagher. He should still have been included in the squad imo, along with Ward Prowse, instead of Henderson and Gallagher. I wouldn't say it was particularly defensive, as we didn't have a holding midfielder on the pitch. In fact, our midfield looked wide open.
