Didn't Sheff U successfully sue West Ham for the Tevez and Maschareno signings that pretty much kept them up despite being dodgy dealings in the end? I presume it'd be similar to that because they broke the rules and stayed up narrowly. That'd just be the final nail in the coffin like if those 3 (plus the other three who went down because god knows once a lawsuit starts the others will jump in as well looking for some of the pie) start down the law route and they get relegated.
It depends what you call successfully. West Ham were found guilty of the Tevez signing being illegal and fined £5m, the jury ruling that Tevez had got them extra points. Sheff Utd wanted them to get a points deduction that kept them up and put West Ham down. West Ham got away with murder basically.
If this is what Everton get then what are Man City and Chelsea going to get. Both have to be ****ting their pants now.
Chelsea and Man City can survive a points deduction anyway Where as clubs trying to catch them can't.
It all seems a bit convenient, the PL are seen to be doing something and Everton get to stay up anyway.
Saying as a precedent has been set I'll go with 10 point s and sued off whichever clubs missed out on champions league paces etc
hope so. Wanna see both of them smashed. Although the dirty 6 will likely **** off to a super league. although the Saudis may own that super league…
