Some shhite from Cornwall called Kwasi Kwarteng to bring the key, but James Cleverly turned up instead. Anyway you seemed to claim the tunnels didn't exist before I wrote that, so where you getting your information from?
No, just said that a Norwegian doctor said he'd not seen any military infrastructure there in the 16 years he'd worked there If there are tunnels there that folk already know about then those thick as **** IDF should be able to find them
Well if he's a doctor he might not know about them, considering they were built in the 80's under Israeli occupation - I'm sure his job as a medic wasn't to go hunting for tunnels that were built 25+ years prior to his time
I think brb should go out and help them find the bomb shelter they built under the hospital init ……..seems to know more than the military intelligence agencies they should try fact check if they can’t afford to transfer brb away from good ole Blighty mind
Yeah, he wasn't really commenting on tunnels/bunkers per se. He said that he'd never seen any military infrastructure at the Hospital. If Hamas were using as their 'Nerve centre' as the IDF claim, you would have thought somebody who's worked there for 16 years would have seen something ? Convenient for Israel that they know they are there though, as they can easily release some footage of some tunnels and then claim they are justified in bombing the place, regardless of what they are being used for
I've no idea, I'm like you and in the UK, absolute miles away. I merely posted up a link from someone calling the Israeli's liars, it had over a million views where that person said they built the bloody tunnels. So my choice is to believe a person with a million views, or to believe you and Abe on some tinpot backwater forum or to just dismiss it all and not give a shhite.
I don't know what's under the hospital either, like I said, I commented on the Norwegian doctor and his testimony from working there. But again, he didn't mention tunnels, he just said he'd not seen any military infrastructure there. The two aren't necessarily linked. Interesting to see that the claim has been made that the Israelis built tunnels there though, as that would provide a convenient story to justify bombing the place.
I'm sure I'd seen in a Israeli hospital some while back, where they built a bunker under a hospital, I think it was an undeground car park converted, my memory on it is a bit sketchy now. So it would seem feasible that the Israeli's may have done the same there - It seemed to be general media knowledge about it. So when I saw that person claiming the Israeli's had built them, it gives you room to pause and say ok, it's possible. Btw none of that would require military structure, it was just underground bunkers to protect people as I understood it. Whether Hamas had converted them obviously is the part in question. Hospitals are large places, I thought that particular hospital was the biggest, and you wouldn't expect any consultant to know every inch of it, especially as they tend to sometimes be broken up into blocks/wings, I thought that was the case with this hospital to.
Yeah that's the key part. Not uncommon for lots of hospitals to have underground facilities, lots of them are used as Morgues etc. As for the consultant, he may well know that there's an underground facility, but like you say not necessarily a military one. As he was quite specific in saying that he'd never seen any military infrastructure there.
Actually you just reminded me using the word 'morgues' there was something in the media where it was being claimed Hamas were using them as torture chambers (the morgues)...I didn't get any more info than that, I wasn't paying that much attention to it at the time.
I just find the Israeli claims that Hamas built these tunnels deliberately under civilian infrastructure a bit dubious now, knowing that they built some of them themselves
